Republicans want to repeal the bill.

Dems want to codify Roe v Wade.
Republicans want to enact a nationwide abortion ban.

Dems lowered the Federal deficit by $1.4T.
Republicans have raised the deficit every year they've been in office.

The dollar is strong, the job market is strong, wages are up, and people have money to spend. Inflation is at 40 year highs, but corporate profits are at 70 year highs. Inflation is way up across the globe, and comparatively, the US is in better shape. But, since our low information voters don't understand things beyond their city limits, it's likely going to be a big day tomorrow for the Republicans. We'll be right back to giving the super rich more money and then wondering why trickle down economics didn't work this time.

The Fed is raising interest rates higher and higher to slow the economy down. The goal is to slow down the economy so the supply side has a chance to balance out and get prices back in check.

If you are an old hillbilly from NY that hasn't crossed the state line in the last decade, this might be hard to understand. The rest of the civilized world is dealing with very high inflation and comparatively, things are better here. That doesn't mean it's great, just better. The current administration has passed bills to reduce the price of prescription drugs and fight inflation while the opposition party votes against it every step of the way.

Social Security payments are dictated by inflation not any party. However party could contribute with policies that result in 40 year high inflation.
