Yes.......I know one of the big concerns of my Doctor was about smoking pot. I personally don't, but he said it is a major contributor. In a way I wish I had. maybe the solution would have been a lot easier. You just need to be careful as to what it is they want ot put you on for remedy. Some of the medications make you dependant upon them. which then in turn creates another problem. Some of them alos have side effects that may curb your sexual desire as well. Make sure you ask a lot of questions before just taking the first thing that one might prescribe.

I know exactly what you are going through. Been on medication for it now for over 5 years. I wouldn't wish it on anybody. Just a horrible experience. Good thing though it can be controlled. See your doctor if you continue to have problems.

Prayen,

Sounds like anxiety to me (probably mixed with depression given you're having some legal woes), talk to your physician about Buspar, a lot of folks who can't handle antidepressants or some other medications to manage their anxiety beacuse of the side fx respond well to buspar--very limited side fx including sexual side fx. Lots of folks have also had a positive response to St. Johns Wort for depression, can cause sun sensitivity though. St' John's available at health and grocery stores. Again, talk to your physician before beginning something.

As stressed as you sound, talking to a therapist could give you some relief as well.

Do something though, its hard to take a step when you're feeling bad 'cause you feel shut down, but just taking an action can often break that shut-down feeling and help folks begin to feel better.

Good luck to you.

all kinds of good treatments out there, A.P. Sorry you're having these problems, but man, it sounds like you need to get somewhere NOW to start getting help. How old are you, btw?

Always Prayen,
1. See a Doc for some help...for the immediate issues..TODAY
He'll, most likely assist with meds. that will help for the RIGHT NOW
2. Long term...the idea is to recover..and be able to function without meds..How does that happen??

A. give your brain cells an optimum environment to be produced and survive. DO NOT stress yourself with drugs, bad foods, diet coke, etc.....live and eat right
B. Find someone to talk to....a friend, a counselor, AA is the best place for good listeners, help and support...you may not see the value right away but you will (trust me) ...ya gotta get off drugs and alcohol completely (depressants) do you do coke or amphetamines?? they are a real no no.........There used to be FAR more talk therapy before DRUGS that make you feel better but mess with your neurotransmittors. Can be Hard to get off antidepressants and NEVER cold turkey..
C. Get out into the sunshine and start walking...exercise to the extent that you are able to do that....every day
D. Talk to your GOD and let HIM take your hand or carry you for a while. Go to church and exercise or renew your relationship with your GOD
E. KNOW THIS.........what you are going through is scary..YOU WILL SURVIVE IT....and you will grow, prosper and be happy once again!

bear ....PS ( continue to come talk to the Madjackers...there are others who have been where you are)

ive heard of busbar but never took it. you know you stop and try to analyze your problem sayin well it must be this or must be that i seem to keep coming up with a different reasons all the time but their are a few that still keep popping up the two biggest ones is, i started playing professional poker all most 1 1/2 ago. a online site sponsored me paying for everything i mean everything it was awsome. i left my wife and son at home and took off, leaving for 2 - 3 weeks out of a month for over a year. of course a few months into my wife said she wanted a divorce and weve had probs ever since. in the mean time i found a traveling companion who i met playing on line who lived locally only a few streets away never the less we hooked up for over a year now and shes leaving town to take care of a dying relative for who knows how long? i also have lost my sponsorship. so i feel lost!! after sleeping in so many hotel rooms and being on the road so long i dont feel like my house is home any more!! i feel lost i cant even sleep in my own bed i get panic attacks thinking about it!!! i used to love the nite!! when it would get dark i was like a vampire i was ready to go now i get so scarded of the nite finding myself alone and frickening out going nutts!! i know i sound like a puss bag but talking sure makes it feel better!!!!!!!

well, it doesn't sound like any bad psychiatric disorder like bipolar or schizophrenia, so that's good. Sounds like severe anxiety caused by a terribly stressful profession. Is it an option for you to go to the doctor? Please do so, ASAP.

Lots of stuff happening there prayen. It may feel like it's gonna feel this bad forever, but IT'S NOT. Call your doctor TODAY, you need to take an action now. The sooner you act, the sooner you can start feeling better.

Prayen, just saw you have called your Dr., GREAT. BTW, you did a good thing for yourself getting in this board and talking about what's going on.That right there is an action and a good way to take care of yourself while you wait to get to the Dr., etc. Lots of support here and most of us have experienced the kinds of stress and anxiety you're talking about and can relate. I know I can.

Dude, good luck to you, seriously, this is not something to play around with. I have been suffering with anxiety/depression for about three years now and it just gets worse if not under control.

I really hate to give out too much personal info on the board simply because there are a handful of assholes here that will just use it to insult you with later, but I can tell you I haven't found a way to get hold of it yet and in all honesty it gets kinda scary sometimes.

Don't be afraid to make some drastic change if you think it might help. I keep thinking that pulling the trigger on some big change might help me out, but then I just start thinking about pulling trigger in a differnt way (see signature line).

Depression is real, and it can be a bitch.
