3rd rd results 2-2-1

3rd rd
Ogilvy -110 over Rose (+1/2 stroke)WSEX win
Choi -108 over Rose @ 5 Dimes push
Clarke -110 over Choi (-.5 strokes)WSEX >-150 @ 365 ???? win
Allenby -105 over Cink @ $plays loss
Senden -110 over Willis @ 365 (ties lose) loss

Wierd day and weird tourney
All matches decided last hole and Rose has to birdie last 4 to even get a smell and does. Have felt uneasy bout this event since day one. You got a leader that ranks 180th in gir's,173rd in putting and 174 in (actual scoring)-pins are still set in middle of greens after the cut so would not be surprised to see same today and add projected rain and you have a rd that you can toss normal 4th rd stats-therefore I will not even look at lines to avoid temptation.
Added notes: Was nice to hear Clarke will be playing full schedule here next year. What a charismatic addition. One of my favs----also for those dabbling in the money list wagers it was noted yesterday that Singh will play every week from here on out.
A worthy note for money list including Tiger.

Loss on the event and never looked like being anything else. Singh had led the tournament during the 2nd round, but ended the day two shots behind Adam Scott and never got any closer. Furyk recovered well after a poor opening round in the worst of the weather, but never looked like reaching the top-5. August has not been a good month ... glad to see the back of it!

What could go wrong did, fortunately played few but should have played fewer. Have had some good bounces so won't whine (too much)
:D

Some notes on this 1st time event for next year
A:The aussies did extremely well here which was surprising considering no wind. Would be curious to others thoughts on why,as I can't lay finger on it.
B:Total drivers ruled. Even typical non producers with good stats did well here.
Will be headed to China Wednesday for a couple of weeks--ya all get after em--and have some winners for me to piggyback when I return:cool:
