as an mma group,they`re no better than what we have here,imo...

I dislike Marquez immensely for my own reasons. However being a good gambler requires that not to matter. JMM-John really wasn't a close fight. JMM won very clearly. It was a boring fight but he 100% won. He will beat Diaz as well. JMM will counter the shit out of Diaz and has a good shot of making him gun shy IMO. Diaz can be hurt/dropped by good counter shots. Elezear Contreras who isn't a big puncher for example dropped him on his ass with a real nice uppercut.

Good call Mayo. I was a little nervous when you made the post. I got a little cold feet and hedged w/Marq by dec. I thought Casa was kind of shot when he got stopped so I felt Diaz at the very least would go the dst. Marquez is one TOUGH sob and one talented fighter.

Thanks. JMM does everything real well. Probably his biggest weak point is his chin but it's not bad, it's above average IMO. His handspeed is criminally underrated IMO. Casamayor was well past his best but he did show up in good shape against JMM and fought well. Diaz just seemed a good style for JMM. A hittable guy coming straight to him with not that great of defense and not much power. Round 2 actually showed how little power he has. Sure he stunned JMM but that was a MONSTEROUS left hook, a knockout punch if you have power.
