The only punches Froch landed were in the clinch.

I don't mind losing a bet but I HATE being Fucking ripped off!!! :( :( :(

I guess you take your chances on the road.

Juan Diaz vs Paulie Malignaggi ? :mj07: This looked like a copy of the fight actually . Lesser skilled bully with less landed punches against quicker and more skilled boxer .

Even though I bet Dirrell- he cost himself the fight.

He was content to go into an opponents hometown and fail to open up until the last few rounds. Technically he may have "won" the fight at a neutral site or in his hometown- But not here. A more seasoned professional would have understood the magnitude or scope of the situation and fought with a bit more passion given the circumstances AD was in :box2:

i hate to say this

but i thought froch fought the fight he had to

good enough performance

FROCH could have done an HUMBERTO SOTO against JOAN GUZMAN

but froch didnt run out of answers, he found a way to win, that why he still champ

Exactly what fightnews had to say. Sorry for your loss Bro! All good things must come to an end. It's been one hell of a ride for the better part of 4 months.

perfectly said,edward.....we`ve all been around the block and we know that a fighter can`t go into a hostile environment, pitty pat around for half the fight leaving rounds open to broad interpretation.....

when the crowd is roaring if your opponent adjusts his trunks, you have to get off your duff and make a statement......

dirrell/abraham in america?......after tonight,i`m not sure....i can see dirrell stealing an awful lot of rounds...

I had DIRRELL massive, but i have to admit he didn't deserve to win.

Boxing is a contact sport; you have to impose yourself and Dirrell absolutely refused to take charge and avoided exchanging to get a decision.

He cost himself the fight, because when he did open up he was hurting Froch.

Afterwards he said he was a warrior; more like a chicken to me.

When you get the chance to become WBC champion you give everything you have; he didn't fight like a champ and i don't see a bright future for him unless a radical change is made in his corner.

Right! Dirrell won but fought a horrible fight. Held, didn't counter a slower guy enough and basically fought scared like he was glad to be there. His corner wasn't much either - they didn't make him fully appreciate the situation. Dirrell is a bit immature. He's talented but needs some seasoning. This fight should help he really could have banged Froch out if he was more confident - it was right there for him.

Dirrell is a bit immature.

Seems more like a heart problem to me.

I don't know who is going to pay to watch him avoid getting hit all night and not make the other guy pay for his mistakes when he gets the chance.

"I'm a warrior": somebody please bring him to reality.

Semantics - those qualities tend to blur but I see what your saying.
