sweet...responses continuing and I'll definately look into all mentioned...on a real movie kick, lately.

Saw The Experiment yesterday. Worth seeing--thought it was pretty well done.

Seen two already today. Hellraiser, again, and it was kinda cool. Saw it a million years ago but doubt that I'll ever bother again. Pretty good for that supernatural shiite that I mentioned ain't really my thing. Might have seen the 2nd, again way back, but can't be sure. I guess there's 8, altogether, but I've heard that the later ones are pretty much crappy.

Also finally saw The Cell. Really enjoyed it, actually. Decent story and very aesthetically pleasing, not only because Jennifer Lopez ain't too hard on the eyes...just saw good footage--good direction--right from the opening. A little on the metaphysical side, as well, but not beyond the laws of physics or what little I know about the fucked-up field of electro-physiology. Fucked-up, that is, because most of the research appears to have been conducted for weapons research...no surprise there, really.

I'll continue on with recommendations but just looks like I have The Day After Tomorrow lined up to conclude my day. Haven't been too anxious to see it, yet, as I'm rather skeptical about this whole anthropogenic global warming situation. Looked into a lot of the work, both the conjecture and the scientific research, but I can't figure out who's got it right and who's full of shit. I think I've decided that I really don't give a shit...having no kids, of my own, perhaps allows me such recently adapted apathy. I've seen totally different ratings and appraisals of the movie but I suppose that I should experience it at least one time before I perish.

Got a miniscule Troy moneyline, tonight, so sports won't be distracting.
Sure hope the Phillies got game tomorrow.

you watch many foreign films? if not you should

american cinema seems to be in an artistic depression

watched my share.
Alphaville and The Vanishing, lately, as mentioned.
Das Boot was too long for a subtitled film (me and my fucking English only)

I will, as mentioned, look into others mentioned--English or whatevas

Some exquisite foreign rock n' roll out there so I imagine there remains some similarly good foreign films I've missed.

Saw The Day After Tomorrow, quite recently. Was tolerable but, was it me or did they steal innumerable scenes from other moves?
That was an issue and so was the incomprehensible ending to the film, or call it resolution of the situation.
Had to see it at least once, as mentioned.
