How about all you elitist explain the unrealized Capital gains taxes on home and investments. Anything to steal our money for social programs. Unrealized capital gains are not currently taxed. The proposal would affect households worth over $100 million. Someone has to pay the price of all the tax cuts, the people that have benefitted the most is a great place to go.

EV mandates: They would take effect in a decade. They have time and a plan. The good thing about being in a capitalist economy is that someone has a huge opportunity to fill the void.

If you fall behind, the bank will take your home, but under federal law they have to give you at least 120 days. If you are that delinquent, I'm not going to shed a tear for you.

Hey Steve, I read more on it since I wondered how it would work and there is another qualifier tied to them paying taxes on assets. I live in Colorado, lots of Mountains, Jared Polis does a great job as Governor of this democratic state. We sold our winter home in Florida last summer and I miss it tremendously. We received 4 feet of snow in our small town this March. I love Colorado, I hate all the snow as I live 8000 ft above sea level.

There are people that have hundreds of millions of dollars that are not paying shit in taxes (percentage wise) because they are playing a game called "Buy-Borrow-Die". They borrow money against their assets to live on (to avoid capital gains taxes), use the interest/dividends to pay the loan back (paying minimal taxes), then pass on this tax protected gigantic nest egg to the family. These are the leeches you should be worried about, not the single mothers on welfare.
