Philly has a chance if the can keep the ball Green Bay had major problems with that today. I think that Philly's D will play fine the key will come in turnovers.

Here's my early thoughts, and I appreciate reading yours.
I think Pitt and St. Louis will cover.
St. Louis has a great defense that continues to get overshadowed by the offense.
Philly defense is also great, close to St. Louis'. Edge to Rams.
Offense, nowhere close-Big edge rams
Rams will win BIG.
Pitt looks as balanced as they've been in a long time. Defense, running game, Stewart making mature decisions. Kicking game is only weakness.
Pitt by two TDs.
At least this is the way I am leaning now.

I will be the 1st to say Eagles ..27-23 COVER!!!!!!!!!!

REID is a top Coach and this game looked as if it took no toll on Rams Off, Phil will not TO the ball and Phil has extra Dimension with Mc nabb...GB Off Did not give D chance to be in game , PHIL O will......

Yea Philly has a chance if Warner and Faulk quit tomorrow and go into the priest hood.

You think Farve looked bad today, Mcnabb is due for one of his ugly games, the usual way he plays and St Louis will do it to him.

Mcnabb's lucky streak ends this week in St Louis. Philly comes back to earth:D

On the course!
St Louis might just be a little high after that drubbing of the Slackers. I would not sell the Eagles short. They do not have "dome-a-phobia" like Green Bay, and Favre.

I would love to see the Rams a little overconfident.

At any rate, this will be a much better game than yesterday's.

....and Ctown.....take Warner's dick out of your pocket for a couple of days......his old lady doesn't blow him that much!:D

It may be a slight stretch to say that the Eagles can win outright, but I would not be shocked to see it. The Eagle "D" will give the Rams more problems than most. The Philly secondary matches up better with Rams than perhaps any other. To think that the Ram "D" is better than the Eagles is ludicrous. The chance the Eagles have will be on offense. McNabb, like Stewart, is a different qb than he was in the past. The aggressive Ram defense may play right into his strength. Over pursuit of McNabb in the pocket or the pressure to keep him in the pocket will allow Eagles to get receivers (average) open. I think that if the Eagles are to have a chance, they need to put up 28 points or more. That doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility if McNabb continues his heady play. Throw out the GB game. Rams won't get 6 picks and turnovers galore. I look for an entertaining game. The pressure is on the Rams and chasing McNabb around the field, given their gang tackling style, could tire most of the squad.

Hey everyone,

Let's have a moment of silence for xyz, his MVP Farve and his beloved Packers got buried on Sunday, so let's show a little respect.

Knowing the emotional state you're in, I'll let the crude Warner remark pass and just relish in the thought that everything was set straight on the field and all your sour grapes about Warner or his wife etc just indicate what sore losers you all are.

But remember it's just a game and one that the Rams play very well:D

Yes they do!

Yes they do!

I really think this will be a close game. If the eagles can keep it close in the 1Q , then they will be in it all the way.

Offense - Mcnabb has really started to click with Thrash and Pinkston. Mitchell has come on lately as well. The TE is a valid threatl. If they can run a little (other than Mcnabb) , they could be dangerous.

Defense - They are playing with confidence. Hopefully, Johnson will come up with a scheme to slow down Warner. My concern right now is the status of Troy Vincent (Groin). If he's out and Harris has to fill in, it could get ugly.

Sour grapes? Nah, I know the Pack got their ass handed to 'em! Never made a claim to the contrary. Play like that, and you can't beat any team in this league, let alone, the premier one!

No, I have to agree, that the Packers were beaten every which way.

Thanks for letting my comment slide, by the way......I sure will sleep better knowing that you are so magnanimous! But you are mistaken about it being a "Warner" comment. It was about you, not him or his wife.

Oh because I'm a Warner fan, I am supposed to laugh at your crude remark ABOUT ME!

I have alot of respect for what this athlete did in his career, what he has accomplished against the odds he faced. I'm not even a Rams fan, but I'm objective enough to recognize a great player and an off the field roll model also.

And you can say what you want, but their must be some sour grapes or some anger coming from some where or why else would you make such a statement.

He is the kind of athlete that should be admired, not the Ray Lewises of the league etc etc.

Chill out man:shrug:

a few points.

eagles are 8-1 on the road su.

eagles will b faster on the turff too.

mcnabb played indoors on carpet at syracuse.

david ackers is the man, wilkins has kicked pats.

everyone is on the rams jock, eagles will hang it all out.

the winner covers this game, either rams blowout due to too many eagle turnovers, or the eagles d will make the difference and give ackers the chance to win it.

eagles take a 15 yd personal foul and lay warner out. now he has sore ribs from the gb. this guy is all banged up.
