i would not call it a jynx, but i can't handicap the dallas cowboys nor tampa bay. i am always on the wrong side, whether they win or lose. i swear not to play them again, and always come back for more punishment.

Had Seattle -8 at home vs the Sacramento Kings about 5 years ago on the last leg of a parlay that would have paid 20 grand. Sacramento was up by 20 at halftime. The most depressing game I have ever watched. Still cant watch a game between these two to this day.

So I choose to despise them both.

Bluegrass!
Skin....

Make damn sure you keep that betting style constant this year in regards to the Wildcats!

It looks as if Prince and Bogans will be back for their senior years. This should be the best team in the nation, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a preseason #1 ranking...

The next Kentucky Mr. Basketball has already committed to Kentucky for next season. Brandon Stockton is from my little neck of the woods, and he's a tremendously gifted and talented basketball player. 1st team all state and received more votes than anyone else, and he's ONLY]/b] a junior! He'll make a fantastic addition to an already fantastic team.

With Pitino in Louisville, and the crop of kids Tubby has put in place, the next few years of basketball in the Bluegrass is gonna be really really exciting! It's gonna seem like this upcoming football season is never gonna end...

The freaking Dallas CryBoys!

Bet on them, they lose!
Bet against them, they burn your ass!

But even those cryboys will give you one once in awhile. Last season it was the game against the Ravens. Easy winner on Baltimore.

My perspective on this is as both a former bettor and current bookmaker...

Jinx Teams--
Baseball--Atlanta Braves
NFL--Philadelphia Eagles
College FB--Michigan State and Fresno State (tied) (both should rot in eternal hell for the torture they have put me through)
NBA--New York Knicks
College BB--Duke (VERY special place in hell for anyone who puts on this uniform!!!)
NHL--Florida Panthers
Golf--Justin Leonard

Jinx Players...
Christian Laettner (College BB)
Shane Battier (College BB)
Bubby Brister (NFL)
Jim Druckenmiller (College FB)

AND THE KING OF ALL JINX PLAYERS...THE MAN WHO IN HIS YOUTH COST ME MORE MONEY THAN ANY INDIVIDUAL...

Heathcliff Slocumb...the former so-called closer for the Phillies, Red Sox and various other teams. Whenever I needed this guy to close a game...forget about it, he's giving up 3-run rallies...whenever I need a total under...he gives up a run and still gets a cheap save...when I need him to choke...he looks like freakin' Mariano Rivera. Thank god Heathcliff is no longer around...

Sure have to agree with Auburn.

And I thought I did such a good job of ridding that team from my memory....then djv had to come along and remind me.

For this year in baseball, it isn't even close:
CHICAGO CUBS

NFL: The Buffalo Bills killed me many times, but maybe that had a lot to do with Wade Phillips coaching.... at least you have to blame it on something.

Yes. During this time of the year it is those that play in the american League nad the National League. Later it will be those in the NFL, NCAA, and the NBA.
