do you happen to know if it?s available on any of the steaming services?

Fingers crossed we make it to a Pale Hose game this summer. Right now I?d say the odds are strongly in favor of it not happening .

I downloaded it through Vimeo.

Yeah, it appears that the entire summer's going to be cancelled at this point. I'm still holding out hope for two trips in June and July, but both of my conferences have already been scrubbed. Just waiting to finish off the term, and most definitely no graduation ceremonies this spring!!! UGH!

Fingers crossed and stay safe, brotha!

Peace! :)

I have several friends who have high school
Seniors.
Do the math on when many of them were born.
They came into this world during the 9/11 tragedy and now this nightmare.
One friends son was born on September 10th, another had her daughter October 1st.
One is bummed he won?t get to go to prom, the other is convinced she won?t get to start college in the fall and who knows, she may be right.
Stay safe yourself and we?ll catch up when we can. :toast:

Yep, I watched the documentary, it is worth watching for sure. And being Canadian you knew all about this case, how could you not it was all over the news.

I especially knew about it, because even before all the sick shit started I was made aware of the main character (I won't ruin it for those that have not seen the doc).

There is a part where you see an interview done by the Toronto Sun where the names Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo were mentioned (again won't ruin it for those that have not seen the doc). Well those two names are known to any Canadian that was born before the 1990's. Well one of the girls Karla/Paul killed was in my High School, so yep I was aware of the subject matter in the "Don?t Fuck With Cats!" documentary.

Now there will never be a documentary (well an official one anyway) that covers Paul Bernardo/Karla Homolka and that's a good thing because it is the most fucked up sick shit you will ever see. But for those Madjackers that want to read some really really really really fucked up shit read about what Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo did. And let me tell you they were on the prowl when I was in High School and when one of your High School classmates gets cut up into pieces it fucks you up and you never forget it.

And yes I know that was a bit off topic, but if you are a Canadian born pre 1990's and you watch the "Don?t Fuck With Cats!" documentary you will automatically think back to the Paul Bernardo/Karla Homolka case. And oh yeah one more thing for anybody that reads about the Paul Bernardo/Karla Homolka case, get this, Karla Homolka is free and she has kids:scared

Anyway........I enjoyed "Don?t Fuck With Cats!", good stuff, for those that haven't watched it, I like others on here recommend it. But again, if you are Canadian, you will get major flashbacks to Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo, hell they show Karla so can't avoid it.

If You have nine hours to spend and find this online:

Shoah:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoah_(film)

Shoah is a 1985 French documentary film about the Holocaust,[a] directed by Claude Lanzmann. Over nine hours long and 11 years in the making, the film presents Lanzmann's interviews with survivors, witnesses and perpetrators during visits to German Holocaust sites across Poland, including extermination camps.

Released in Paris in April 1985, Shoah won critical acclaim and several prominent awards, including the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Non-Fiction Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Documentary. Simone de Beauvoir hailed it as a "sheer masterpiece", while documentary maker Marcel Oph?ls called it "the greatest documentary about contemporary history ever made". The film was not well received in Poland; the Polish government argued that it accused Poland of "complicity in Nazi genocide"

Interesting series of interviews made just 20 years after holocaust. Includes victims and people who used to work or live nearby camps and a few nazis that were there. It's not just the people interviewed but whole time of the war and how it is presented through these interviews. Some people openly laugh, yeah, jews went to camps and we robbed their homes etc. And they think there was nothing wrong with that...

Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse

Hearts of Darkness chronicles how production problems?among them bad weather, actors' poor health, and other issues?delayed the filming of Apocalypse Now, increasing costs and nearly destroying the life and career of its director, Francis Ford Coppola.

The documentary was begun by Coppola's wife, Eleanor Coppola, who narrated behind-the-scenes footage. In 1990, Coppola turned her material over to two young filmmakers, George Hickenlooper and Fax Bahr (co-creator of MADtv), who subsequently shot new interviews with the original cast and crew, and intercut them with Eleanor Coppola's material. After a year of editing, Hickenlooper, Bahr, and Coppola debuted their film at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival[2] to universal critical acclaim.

usually included as bonus material in Apocalypse.Now. br/hd-discs.
