Are you sure you want to know? It means that the person is not able to expel their own stool. The kind of impaction I'm referring to is in the lower colon/rectum, but people can have impactions higher in their intestines. There are lots of reasons this can happen, and lots of times it's so bad that an enema won't work. Then, it's diggin' time, and it's not fun!

UGH, busted, eh???? don't remember where or when i came across this beauty, but when i did, knew for sure it would be appropriate once the classic marine thread was bumped back up to the top ;)
