Draftkings closed my account for 3 months after taking them for 30:1 before the last play of wash / chi

They closed my account for 3 months for a “cool off “ period, on wednesday.

They said they emailed me monday warning me but after 5 conversations the proof of that phantom email is in the wind.

Naturally i get aggravated and demand the actual reason, they ignore me for 30 hours then tonight they quote my chats and emails with understandably growing hostility as the reason for the ban.

Dude??

First of all, my “x” is $400, so yeah i did clean them out for over $12k in 45 seconds but since when is that excessive or a player protection trigger to ban me??

The whole biz model of these apps is casino games. I rarely play them but $500 can turn to $4.67 in 21 minutes risking $1 at a time.

I guess if you cost them $ on the sports side and dont dump it back with dealer 21 7 straight hands blackjack then youre breaking the rules.

When this chit went legal in 2018 I played with fanduel. After two years in 2020. I was about even. Went sideways. I asked what they could do if I wired in 250 k - If they would give me 50 k bonus. These legal books do that. However. What fanduel did was hilarious. They sent me an email from their legal department stating that they deemed me a problem gambler and will be shutting down my account. The letter said I was banished from their site and this would be a lifetime ban which would never be reversed. Hahahahhaha. I couldn’t believe it. All for asking a question. I think they were getting bad publicity during that time and many wives were suing them for their husbands’ losses. Lol. Idk. But that was nuts. I just laughed and moved to their competitors. Duh. Now they lost a great customer for life.

Honestly the USA books are a joke and terrible for players. There are no protections for banning winners and the trigger for banning is incredibly short. It is essentially a gigantic money funneling scam with zero risk. It is shameful that this is allowed.

Oh fanduels banned me years ago… they settled an aussie open tennis bet over 3.5 sets as void because tied at 2 sets, a guy retired down 3 gms in the 5th set. I blew a gasket (i was new to tennis betting at the time - turns out their house rule on that isn’t uncommon). They kept saying it “wasnt over 3.5 sets” and “if your bet had won at the time the match stopped it’d be a win” which isn’t true or the actual explanation—any set over unders are voided if the match isn’t completed (i.e. a retirement). But i withdrew 5 figures in cash at over the next 2 days and they threatened to flag me under AML (anti money laundering) bullcrap and no one with my last name or a similar addresss has been able to use fanduels since …january 2020ish? Lol

I actually use borgota / betmgm and bet365 too, i mean i have alternatives, but DK has some unique options / live markets that I’ll miss.

For starters, 95% of places aren’t even offering a Wash ML in that situation or you may see a price flicker or “closed” DK is one of the only apps I’ve found that’ll give you a fair shot to take that large a line that late in a game.

The account locked / withdraw funds (screenshot) is definitely not how Fanduels banned me haha.

Your bet was graded correctly, and you "blew a gasket" because you bet on something and you did not know the rule. So instead of taking 2 minutes to read the rule you "blew a gasket". Good job by them banning you for your ignorance. I would have done the exact same thing if somebody "blew a gasket" at yelled at me when I did nothing wrong. So yeah good for them. There is a reason Legal Sportsbooks have an entire section that details each sport and their wagering rules. Here is an idea....READ THE RULES BEFORE PLACING A BET, gee what a concept😲. The fact you didn't read the rules and then complained is on you, not them.

Pretty much every Legal Sportsbook on the planet has been doing this since the 1960's. You win a ton of money, they ban you, it has always been that way.

There are a couple of exceptions here and there, but for the most part, no matter if it was 1981 or 2021, you'll eventually get banned if you win. Some a way less amount than others, but they'll all get you eventually. And oh yeah, Legal Sportsbooks in Nevada have been banning people for winning since it became legal a long long time ago.

I'd stop at calling it a scam (unless they are cheating which sometimes does happen) but this is nothing new, it is just on a bigger scale now, that's the only difference.

And Slumdog and his gazillion dollar parlay winners have not got him banned from any Legal Sportsbook, so with all this talk about Madjackers "getting banned for winning" it seems to be going ok.
