Diaz trying to tuna-net-walk and isolate the right arm of Sakurai. He flips Mach over - well, Mach kind of flips himself over - and Diaz is able to finish the armbar and get the tap.

Nick Diaz (22-7, 1 NC) def. Hayato "Mach" Sakurai (35-11-2) via submission (armbar) R1

Tiny loss of 0.12 Rogans......but more importantly I forgot how good I look in my 1987 sweatband. Man I look good in that thing:SIB

Also....be nice if that asshole Diaz actually fights somebody in top 10.

And for the first time in MMA history I saw a ref pull up a guys pants. Ralek Gracie on the ground and ref pulls his pants up, that was odd.

Oh and Fuck you Diaz.

I had to bring back 80's kickserv.

I warned UKGAZ that Saku was not in his prime similar to your tennis game these days.
I hope he believed me.

This argument is getting old. I've yet to see Nick turn down a fight or turn down a UFC contract. He can't magically turn into a matchmaker. He will beat the piss out of anybody put in front of him (Especially boring-ass GSP). :toast:

Just before the fight I pulled the trigger on Saku. I told myself I would not but I did:shrug:

I expected him to be able to keep it standing. I hope he retires now but I will miss those orange shorts:0008

Yeah Saku used to be amazing but those days are long behind and repots come out that he drinks, smokes, and doesn't come close to training like he used to.

It is not old because Nick hasn't fought anyone in top 10 and if he'd did he lose.

For example Fitch and Alves would toy with Diaz. As for GSP/Nick, that fight wouldn't even be sanctioned by any North American commission, it would be too big a mis match.

Nick is hugely over-rated and gets hype because he never fights anybody in top 10. I mean look at who he has fought in last 5 fights.....pathetic.
