First off, the BBC has reported that Cordoba was taken to a Dublin hospital for medical treatment. Precautionary. He was responding and seems OK. Thank God.

Secondly, for those of us who bet big on Cordoba - the scorecards have been released. Oh does this sting!

per fightnews:
"At the start of the eleventh round, Cordoba was ahead on the scorecards (95-92, 96-91, 97-90) and the title seemed headed back to Panama. However, champion was exhausted and Dunne came out like a predator, sensing that he needed a knockout. Dunne battered Cordoba, floored him three times and made Ireland proud. An incredible turnabout. "

rest of the article here:

the only solace I take in this, is that my round by round was accurate for you guys. More accurate than those BS Irish homers announcing the fight.

Again, all credit to Dunne, but....DAMNIT !!!!!!

Wow, he absolutely needed the huge rd. Nice to see cordoba would have gotten a fair shake in Ireland. Now I have faith in me cousins. Just a little solace in huge turnaround wkend :(

Cordoba was attacking all the time. He was probably thinking there will be home cooking with the decision. Listening to those two fuckin commentators I thought the same. What fight were they watching?

Our guy could dance last two rounds to victory.

In the end all the credit to Dunne. He survived the war and came on top. I guess his chin is not that bad.

What a great photo from ESPN.com
I'm still trying to figure out how Dunne did this.
I knew I was scoring that fight correctly. We were damn close on this one fellas...damn close.

Incredible fight.

You wonder if they produced those cards since Dunne made the point moot with the KO?

If so, you would get the sense of propriety on foreign soil and of course Dunne still has his win.

Only a thought and probably wrong but something to at least consider.
