Some interesting matches on this card including a "comical" one---literally.
Bob Sapp will be fighting a guy who will be wearing a Japanese anima mask of Kinniku Mantaro. VERY STRANGE as it is hard to believe Sapp could get much lower but I guess I was wrong.This is low.

Some good matches on the card though. We will find out if Crocop has anything left.
Alvarez vs Aoki should be a solid match and Hunt vs. Le Banner intrigues me.

I am pretty sure these fights will be on HDNET. I hope at least.

Did anyone else see the movie about underground fighting that came out on dvd a few weeks ago with Jerome LeBanner in it.
Wasn't a bad flick. It is called Scorpion.

no, but thanks for the review... hadnt heard of it, but im going to buy. (sounds sort of like a biography on Kimbo :142smilie)

Good night of fights.... guess i'll have to get HDNET when i can.

I really hope Crocop the Farmer wins.... i still like him. I think Aoki has a good chance at a sub. Hope "Hellboy" beats JZ this time.

I'll be at a New Year's party, but would be perfectly happy staying in to watch this. :)

Of course I'll be watching....me and my buddy GSP will be watching. Although it is on early in the morning, thus I might have to give GSP a pass on his 9pm bedtime and let him stay up one night. :SIB

Oh and "the farmer" (Cro Crop) just sucks now...that boy is done.....although Choi isn't exactly great now is he.

And don't forget this is Japan MMA, fight cards change quicker then a crack whore on a wad a cash. Can't really pay any attention to a fight card until about 3 minutes before they startkurby

Do you give Choi a chance against Crocop!?
He's +200 at bwin right now....

Crocop just looked horribly in his UFC fights...Choi has some power and a (kind of) wrestling background.....

Oh and Zerwas, I'd say worth a shot to go against the farmer Cro CROP, he's pretty much done in my opinion. Although Choi isn't exactly amazing himself, with those odds it is not a bad bet at all. I think "the farmer" is just there to cash a cheque, I think he could care less if he wins or not. The Japanese crowd loves him. He'll get the applause (1 hour introductions in Japan MMA for fu**s sake!) and that's pretty much it. Of course with all the roids on this card, Choi may be coming in weighing about 900 pounds:mj07:


Also.....I think kickserv and kegray could beat some guys on this card:142smilie Man some guys on this card really really suck:scared

There are a few guys who need to hang it up on this card and a few who just don't have it:
Cro CROP is better served in the fields these days.
Mark Hunt is better served eating burgers at a Burger King.
The only thing Sapp is worse at than MMA is acting(see Longest Yard(Sandler version)).
Badr Hari needs to stick to kickboxing because his allaround mma skills stink.
