as a non nfc fan : the eagles are a very good team this year, but they do have weakness. every team has weakness. how many other teams would be happy to have a tandem like mcnabb/owens ? c'mon i don't even like big mouth, but he is a good player. mcnabb isn't manning,mcnair but there are probably 20 teams that would trade their starter for mcnabb. jmo

chokers ? maybe. but as a die hard Raider fan i know how hurtful it is for your team to get close, but not win. because you are a good team, but you play a team in the playoffs that is hotter than you are.

the eagles are playing a $hit team today, but they are doing what you are supposed to do- kill the bad team.

the vikings moved the ball all over philly last week, but the to's cost the vikes dearly. the game may have been much moreinteresting had the vikes scored td's instead of fg's as well.

O/U ... EAGLES and McNabb are my fave team and player, I've loved him since Cuse days but let's not jinx anything. If TO, DM, or Westy goes down the eagles will be in big trouble ... I have them very big at +130 to win division and am just praying all goes well w/o making any poor karmic choices to monkey wrench things

ps denigrate Donovan all you want but he does have the 2nd lowest int. pct in NFL history--and he's not a bad runner every so often; and when digits are mended he can even throw He seems like a good guy so I never quite uinderstood why so many put him down.

I'm not putting Donovan or the Eagles team down. I think you are the best team in A VERY TOUGH division. It should be an interesting season. I am really sick of all of the Eagles fans taking jabs at my Cowboys though, I've loved the Cowboys since I was a kid growing up in the Danny White days.. Die hard fan here... I do think the Eagles will get beat by someone in their own division this year though, it just looks like too tough a division to not lose at least one game though, I mean this NFC east looks tough! By the end of the season I think the Eagles will be in 1st place in the NFC East. Someone told me TO was going to run on our star again a few months ago, for that I hope Parcells and the Cowboys beat them this year - once would be nice but twice would be a delight!!!What I really don't like is the Eagles fans and their loud mouths.

And its always nice to see them choke in the playoffs. It will be a real treat this year!!!

Someone told me TO was going to run on our star again a few months ago, for that I hope Parcells and the Cowboys beat them this year - once would be nice but twice would be a delight!!!What I really don't like is the Eagles fans and their loud mouths.

I'm willing to guarentee that if TO ran out onto the star Andy Reid would sit him the rest of the game and McNabb would chew him out. I've been following the Eagle press conferences pretty closely and he's been more than toeing the company line.

Anyway, I know by now not to talk up the Eagles just yet, it's great to be 3-0 but our season essentially comes down to the NFCC as sick as it sounds. Going to be interesting how this all plays out, but right now I think the Eagles and Seahawks are the elite teams in the NFC. No one else is knocking my socks off, but of course a lot can happen since then.

GMan thanks for the disclaimer -- if you think some of the Eagle fans around here are nuts you should see the people on the team fan boards. Half of them predict a 16-0 season while the other half are worried the Eagles won't win another game. Guess when the city hasn't won a championship in any sport in over 20 years stuff like that happens.
