WTF? Michigan favored by 23 vs Iowa next week, early line via Bovada. Fla St favored by 5 1/2 over L'ville, Toledo by 8 over Miami-OH and Liberty by 11 over NM State, I'm like doggies? Thoughts?

Iowa may not score. Could easily see 27-0, 27-3 type game
The Iowa QB Hill looks like a big stiff but their "D" line and backs are studs. Just seems like a lot of points especially after a home win over Ohio State and Jimmy boy should be back for the Wolverines on the sidelines. Thanks!!

The Iowa offense is no dimensional. They struggle doing anything particularly well and they might not make 3 first downs in this game. Michigan is likely to have excellent field position all game.

Iowa won’t score and Michigan will get 35+. Iowa’s defensive numbers are impressive until you look at the impotent offenses they’ve played all year.
Penn state shut them out 31-0. Look for Michigan to hang more points than that against a pathetic iowa team.

This.
Men Vs boys.
Lucky for all us big ten fans, this is the last season for the lopsided divisions.
Iowa won’t be anything more than a .500 team going forward until Ferentz is gone

Liberty has had a great yr but no way they should
Lay double digits to NMSt. Jerry Kill has Pavia
And the rest of the Aggies playing tough. Could
Easily see Ne Mex st with the win. I'll definitely
Be on them.

i'm pretty sure when ferentz is gone, iowa fans are going to WISH they were a .500 team. sure, their offense is putrid every year, but they always have an elite defense that drags the team to a decent bowl game. and sometimes the conference championship and a good bowl game. who is going to do a better job bringing offensive talent to iowa, especially in today's environment?

not busting your balls, but i think iowa fans are delusional if they think they're actually going to be more successful without ferentz. sure, they will be more exciting to watch, but they're going to lose a lot more games.

Maybe. Maybe not.
But you have to score points to win; averaging under 17 a game ain’t gonna get it done.
I suppose some delusional iowa fans think that Iowa can attract 4 and 5 star QBs and running backs to Iowa city— I ain’t one of them.

But to think Iowa can’t attract better QBs than what daddy and the various OCs have trotted out there the last 20 years is just dumb.
Give me a modern offense with a new coach that realizes it ain’t the 1980s any longer. If it means sacrificing a bit on defense, so be it. Iowa still gets a gimme non conference win every year. They will continue to see plenty of shitty big ten teams on their schedule in the future. It wouldn’t take a new staff long to put together 8 win seasons which is all that Daddy is capable of now most years.

This years defense truly isn’t nearly as good as the numbers say they are. Take a look at the chumps iowa beat this season. The one glaring game that should stick out to you when looking at their schedule is the Penn state game. Iowa lost 31-0 and it wasn’t that close as Iowa did nothing on offense all game.
Saturday night will be a complete destruction by Michigan. Michigan is a far superior team on both sides of the ball to Penn state, harbaugh is back from suspension and Michigan won’t let up as they want some gaudy numbers to show the committee they should be ranked 1 or 2 for the playoffs.
Having said all that, the proper play in this game is the iowa ML. 🤣

hahahaha exactly. we say "in sports, anything is possible," but it's really hard to imagine any scenario where iowa keeps it close tomorrow. i looked at the psu game. 76 yards of total offense. that's impressive.

the entire big 10 was SO bad this year, it's hard to gauge how good any of them are. i mean, NW went 5-4 in conference. that really shows you how bad this conference was this year. the top 4 teams only played one decent OOC opponent. Ohio St needed a last-play TD to beat an ok ND team.

we could absolutely see a repeat of the 2021 big ten championship. despite having the ball 31 minutes, iowa only scored 3 points. and it's REALLY hard to imagine them hanging onto the ball for 31 minutes tomorrow.

i just looked at the iowa TTs. so it's 7.5 for the game (the under is -215). but the first half is 2.5 (the over is -125!) and the second half... the second half, the iowa TT is 0.5. that's hilarious.
