:shrug: why?? is out...what if...Italy win 4-0 then how .... Italy OUT.. I don't get it...:shrug:
OK...I GOT IT NOW...BECAUSE THE SCORE THEY MADE MORE THEN ITALY DID....EVEN ITALY SCORE ALOT OF SCORE FOR THIS GAME...(SPAIN, CROATIA, ITALY) FACE OFF....ITALY SCORE LESS ON OTHERS...
SO, ITALY WIN THIS GAME AND PRAYING FOR NOT TIE (SPAIN vs. CROATIA) THEN ITALY HAVE 5 POINTS TO ADVANCED TO NEXT ROUND.. :0008

draw all three have five points. each
teams Ireland match is dropped from
the results. Italys goal difference vs
Spain and Croatia is 2-2, 1-1 vs each
team. So if they draw 2-2 or 3-3 etc
their goal difference would be 3-3,
final standings would be
Spain 3-3 5pts
Croatia 3-3 5pts

SO, ITALY WILL PRAY...FOR NOT DRAW between Spain vs. Croatia.....otherwise Italy match just like Friendlies match for today....but..my bookie...show... Spain (-1, -1.5)

If SpainvsCroatia ends in a draw, Italy has to win by more than 2 goals and they are in.

2.- Goal Diff

It doesn't matter how much Italy won by. Score differential of Italy Ireland will have no bearing on who goes through
You're right. 1-1 is the only time it will count. I thought you meant something else
I'm not sure if the Czechs have the abort up frot to do it, but Portugal is ripe for an upset. They had so much attacki ability last game because the Dutch had to defend with just one holding midfielder and a shoddy back 4. They won't have near enough space.
