On the course!
Almost 60 years ago, NASA supposedly put a craft on the moon and got the passengers home safely. This was at a time when the computers used to aid in this endeavor, took up BUILDINGS. Scientists were hypothesizing how this would work. 60 years ago.

Today, they fuck up at every other turn. How the hell does an eight day jaunt turn in to a potential EIGHT MONTH ordeal to get those astronauts home?

Now they don't expect to get them home until February?

Thanks Boeing. Jesus Christ!

that's it right there. because nasa doesn't have the necessary budget, it's mostly outsourced to private companies. companies that are driven by profit. and especially boeing right now, as fucked up as they are.

that said, it's really cool that we have multiple rovers on mars. and the stuff we're learning from the newest orbiting telescopes, especially JWST, is awesome.

Musk does not seem so gung ho these days about living on Mars. I think making oxygen is a major problem to overcome
