Agent. May I make a suggestion. I have played both CBS and Yahoo and I really think Yahoo would be easier to manage with alot of players.

I really enjoyed the Yahoo game over the CBS game and I think everyone would have a good time.

Those not familiar with Yahoo you pick 4 golfers a week with 4 alternates a week. So if the 4 you designated as starters are not doing well in that week's tournament you can use your alternates. You can use each player 10 times for the whole year.

If there is room in the CBS game I would like in.

Thanks, and I am not affiliated with Yahoo in any way. lol

I think 30-50 is a good price for 16+ people, with all the fantasy leauges I am now, the price adds up... JMHO

I'm late to the party but if there is still room count me in. Yahoo does not have any information on it's Fantasy Site for golf until "early 2006".

I would be all for the method I spoke of earlier where there is a salary cap of let's say $35 million and you can pick as many players as you want using last year's earnings as their draft amount for this year. For example Woods would be $10,628,024, Vijay, 8,017,336. If you bought someone outside of the top 125 like Waldorf, Westwood, Janzen, they would cost the same as the 125th player which would be $626,736. I would be willing to organize and keep track of this. You are stuck with the same team for the entire year. I think it is a little more fun because it puts a premium on picking the lower level guys. Also, at $35 million you can't really take just Tiger, Ernie, Vijay and Phil.

Just my opinion, I will do whatever game everyone else decides. I also think $50 is a good amount.

The salary cap game is just like that Bob, but you repick every week. You definately have to get some lower ranked guys in there though and its the 4th place finish by a Woody Austin or something along those lines that will get you up there. You other guys are welcome in!!

Would like to get one more person to round it off at 20. I will set the league up tonight and will get everyones email from Jack and send you an invite. We will give everyone until say end of February to pay? Thats 2 months. Whatever you guys want to do, I will hold the money, or I can hold half and someone else hold half if you guys dont trust me. Im holding the money for our fantasy basketball right now, and there are no problems but makes no difference to me. Im not going anywhere but I do think we should have the money paid up front for sure.

I disagree Bob.

Not to bash but I think a one and done setting is less like a fantasy league and more like a lotto.

IMO- I would like to see an opportunity to change your squad weekly. Just picking a set of guys and sitting around all season sounds dull to me.

I'm in for whatever the setup is (salary cap, h2h, closest to the hole) but I would like to cast my vote for a setup that is altered form tourney to touney.

Looking forward to it. Thanks for the setup Agent.

Agent, not sure if someone else posted this and maybe you don't care, but

Yahoo Fantasy Golf might be an option for you too. I have a group of us that go in every year because as we get older and most starting to have families it is tough to get out as much for round or two, therefore this is our crutch to talk 'shit'.

Their system goes like this weekly...

Pick 2 A Players (Start 1) of a list 30 or so
Pick 4 B Players (Start 2) of a list of 40 or so
Pick 2 C Players (Start 1) of a list of 30 or so

Point system goes as follows each day...

low round say 66 or -6 = 20 points
67 would be 18 points
68 would be 16 points
and so on to 0

Player within your selections wins that week's event gets 20 points, second place gets 10 points, and third place gets 5 points.

You can make different selections each tournament and can only take a player 10 times throughout the year. You also are allowed to switch throughout a given tournament for selections you made for the weekly event....meaning the player you start for an "A" player isn't going to make the cut, you can switch to the other "A" player on you bench, same goes for B and C.

I know I flew threw that and again, maybe you don't care, but take a look into Yahoo Fantasy Golf for more descriptions if interested. It works for us.

I did not receive the e-mail. I think my e-mail has changed since I joined Madjacks, but I couldn't find where to check and change it. Let me know what to do.
