I am not going to play Maidana-Kotelnik
too many good players on either side
I can't figure it out for the life of me...should be a great one to watch
I couldn't resist taking a shot on Demarco by 12 rnd decision +500 - odds are great and Diamond is a weirdo who could drop the ball at any time
makes it worth a shot
I also played Chagaev under 8.5 as a SMALL prop bet...this guy Drummond looks like a total stiff
Good luck today guys...besides Henry it seems like everyone did OK last night

Maidana vs Kotelnik was a great fight but Kotelnik won a split dec. Very good fight Maidana is alittle bit to open sometimes but he had Kotelnik in trouble in 9. Both men gave it all even in the last round. Kotelnik is a tough sob but Maidana will get his title someday.

It would have been easier on the heart if the old Vic had turned up.
I hate this new boxing version of Vic.
I lost this bet but I am happy for all the guy's who won, especially NJ. It is a horrible feeling having it all on the line and it feels like ecstacy when it comes through.

Zerwas, Vic by dec was about +550, Maidana decision +700, both of them came DAMN CLOSE to winning, just a tough break. i'd much rather have had your wager than mine entering the 11th. once the tide turns, you'll be making a killing.

I lost half unit this weekend.
Only dog I hit was DeMarco.
My loses were DeMarco over 9.5, Vic under 10, Maidana, Dolan and Cooper. All very close but I'm not kicking myself because I got lucky and missed Henry at the price I liked.
Diamond stoppage was odd to me because I had him ahead after 9 rds.
It seams that majority of board won this weekend. Congrats guys!! :toast:
Zerwas and I will do better next week

Thats my strategy...to lose more often than to win (well, not that, but thats bound to happen if you play +500 or the like)...its working well for me...but it would be nice to win some money next week!

If misery likes company, I had my worst month ever in Jan. The Margo loss was huge. After my worst 2 week stretch I had a decnt week this week. I'm very confident of regaining it all and showing a nice profit by about mid yr. Discipline is key. You're a good capper and a big addition to the site NJ. Congrats on the win last night!

fall 2008 was so great, it left a feeling of invincibility. Oscar started the downswing, and i'm sorry to hear of your january losses Romi, the margo play felt like a rock pre-fight. as good as mosley was, it was clear marg took more damage in the cotto fight than most had expected, and didn't have the same iron will. not to take anything awya from mosley, but it is unusual that both nazim richardson fighters found an incredible surge in stamina after joining him.
Zerwas, you're an amazing prop guy, with those wide odds you will lose more often than not, but when you hit you hit BIG.

maidana dec and demarco dec were great bets, i had them too.
i dont believe rubio will hang with pavlik. maybe pavlik dec but rubio dec i cant see it, but more often than not the most unlikely scenario hits.
Rogan i dont know enough but i will check him out.

Zero for 4.....lost 14 out of the last 17 !

He went with the Ward under...not a bad bet....could have hit
the other three fights he picked were VERY tough calls
Kotelnik-Maidana, Mack-Henry, Dolan-Norton

(I thought Maidana @+200 or more was definite value, but I was not so sure about Maidana @+160 or less)...
