Has Alves really improved enough to be a favorite over Fitch? I don't think Fitch will dominate the fight but I sure think he'll win by putting Alves on his back over and over.

The World's Strongest Man plans to make his second appearance in mixed martial arts against a two-time winner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship's heavyweight belt, if reports are true. Ex-UFC champion Tim Sylvia has been signed to face five-time World's Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski on April 23 in Worcester, Mass., promoters Corey Fischer and Eric "Butterbean" Esch told the Boston Herald. The card will be organized under the auspices of a Korean-based promotion Moosin, Fischer and Esch said.
Pudzianowski took only 43 seconds to win his MMA debut in December, fighting for Poland's largest mixed martial arts organization, Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki, or KSW:

Sylvia last fought in September, when he beat Jason Riley with a first-round technical knockout. Since then the former UFC champion has been trying to find an opponent ? potential bouts in March with journeymen Wes Sims and Branden Lee Hinkle fell through, although the Sims fight reportedly has been rescheduled for June 5 in Canada. Sylvia also is talking to Dream about a possible fight on March 22, although he already turned down fellow ex-UFC champ Josh Barnett as an opponent, MMAjunkie.com reports.
Three other UFC veterans, Fischer said, are also signed for the April card in Massachusetts: Yves Edwards, Rich Clementi and Houston Alexander. Esch has no plans to fight on the April card himself.
Massachusetts started officially sanctioning mixed martial arts in December.
