After watching both Semi-Finals my immediate reaction was take Federer. I took at him at -146 right after the line opened. I still think he will win but I have to admit I'm a little nervous because this line has increased a bit. It seems like in sports the obvious choice is not always the right one.

Why I like Federer:

1) His game has been crisper.

2) He has motivation to get that 14th Major.

3) He will be fresh.

Why I don't like Federer:

1) Nadal is beast who evidently doesn't get tired.

2) I think he is one step a away from getting into the greats category.

3) The quality of Nadal's last opponent seems tougher. I think Nadal overcoming a tough Verdasco could give him an emotional boost.

In my heart I like Federer so I am sticking with him.

Federer -146 to win 1.5 units.

Federer +1' sets -287 to win 2 units.

Can't wait for this.

Now that Queer Wrasslin' Hour is over, get down to a man's sport, lol.

Should be a great one.

I lean Fed but man no one ever got rich betting against Nadal!

Think Fed is fully healthy and Nad is just a touch tired. Of course everybody else thinks that too.

Should be better than the Super Bowl.

Good luck, Monster!

Used to play tennis a lot when younger. One thing for sure, don't care how young and fit you are, a five-hour match will leave you sore and probably with blisters two days later. If Federer can't win this match, he might not ever beat Nadal again.

I know I have never been more eager to see a Tennis match.

I would probably never bet Federer to beat Nadal again if can't win today.

Un-fuckingkable great tennis for the first 8 games: this is the best hard court play from Nadal i've seen.

A classic already.

Nadal returns Fed's serve to perfection; he breaks to 5-4; incredible high quality play from both players.
I think Fed will eventually lose.

McEnroe is right, he's got to go after Nadal. This is not A-'dick where you can sit back and let him fold. You can see Fed is not what he used to be. Too many errors, and that's why he's afraid to go after his shots. But if he keep blocking it back, it won't work. Nadal just doesn't miss often enough.

Nadal doesn't beat himself, like so many other players, and seemingly most of the women. He has to be beaten by positive action.

True.
But Nadal clearly improved his hard court game.
He returns as well Fed's serve to perfection.

Rafa getting tired; he let Fed off the hook at 3-2 break for him; Fed can win this after all/

Fed can win if he serves a little better and gets more aggressive. Nadal will never crack without PRESSURE. He will never lose from being tired or hitting unforced errors. I hope Federer has even a little more in reserve. Certainly he can serve better than he has in the first two sets.

It's a match. Still like seems like Federer is not hitting the big shots he needs to hit.

Just bet a little on Nadal to win 3rd set but that is slight hedge on my Federer bet.

Exactly. That first piont, even tho he lost is, is EXACTLY what fed has to do, and the only way, imo, he can win the match.

I make Fed the favourite at this point.
Rafa isn't the same player when he's tired.
