Boy it really hurt to grade that Bob May/ Michael Clark matchup last night...

Did everyone on this board bet that at Camelot this week??????

OK, now that you guys got into my pocket on that one, do me a favor and root for Tom Lehman to come back and knock off Nicky Price in the 4-day matchup. Some of the big wiseguys from Vegas hit me with Price action all week long...

GO LEHMAN GO !!!!! Besides when Price wasn't going too well about a year or so ago, he fired his long time caddy for no reason. I know a lot of golfers do this, but the bullsh*t reasons he gave were lame, screw him. ( I know his ex-caddy, as if you couldn't tell.)

3rd round plays: 2-0-0 and +5.00 units

Didn't like too many matchups today, but a good result from the ones that I did. Hoch beat Tryba by two shots and Mayfair beat Murphy by six. In the 72-hole plays, Estes still leads the event and leads Tryba by eight, but Byrum's lead over Tolles is down to one. Could even break even on the outrights. Hoch is too far back to win, but is only one shot out of a top-5 position, though Toms is very much out of the running.

Might have known that a tie at a Euro book would spoil your day DTB

Stanley,

I really wasn't paying enough attention to this thread when I read it before, but did I read this correctly???

A sportsbook allowed you to wager actual money on Billy Mayfair (-125) over SEAN MURPHY!!! Who are they and what are their limits!!! This would have to be one of the worst lines I have ever seen. Sean Murphy is a borderline tour pro whose claim to fame is winning a host of Nike/Buy.com events. Mayfair may not be at the top of his game, but my god.....

I hope you bet the MAX on this...I may have to open an account at this place if that's the quality of their matchups.

LOL!

Yes Mark, I did play the max on Mayfair. Mind you, that is only two units as they have 3-way betting outside the American market and there is nothing worse than losing your money to a tie. Just ask DTB! BTW I think was just a rogue line; I know their golf guy and he is very good.

Tough tourney to cap and glad to get out with a profit.Good to see Daly playing well despite small collapse in end. Will remove him from his 2 year standing at top of my no heart/no lead is safe list and replace with #2 Carlos Franco.Who true to form follows a 70 with an 80(highest score of tourny).

Big week coming with the Open

Final update: 1-1-0 and +0.70 units for the day; 11-4-0 and +11.91 units for the week

Split the plays as money rather than heart resulted in the Estes/Daly play. Would have loved Big John to win the event, but he didn't and took two more shots than Estes on the day to make it a profitable play. In the other, Strange's ability to compete at this stage of the tournament was a surprise and he defeated McCarron by three shots. At the least the two remaining 72-hole plays won: Byrum by two shots over Tolles and Estes by eight shots over Tryba. A decent profit on the week.

Update on the outright plays: 0-3 and -3.00 units

Hoch finished in the top-10 but was never really in contention for a place finish. Neither was Toms who finished 53rd or Triplett who missed the cut. Just as well for the matchups this week.

Tough loss on Hnatiuk DTB, followed that one with you myself
