frank,

i think you are going to hit that parlay.

as much as i enjoy watching katsidis, i think he is taylor made for diaz.

what do you think about a calderon-valuev parlay?

I'm considering that as my play for the weekend.

valuev at home in germany and he seems to have improved a bit. hard to see ruiz doing any better.

my guess is valuev and calderon both win decisions saturday.

Ya know ghost, John Ruiz is a freakin nightmare. The SOB finds ways to win fights in spite of his absolutely disgusting style of "boxing". I would normally bet the giant in a similiar matchup, but Ruiz is freaking scary. He just won't go away! Before you pull the trig, maybe see what some others here have to say. I like the venue without a doubt, but I just try not to bet anything involving that guy(Ruiz). A colleague has contacts in Texas and will reach out to them to see what's what with the baby bull. Make sure he is good to go, etc. Later.

are you guys really confident in calderon? im not confident making a pick here. im looking for parlay partners for juan diaz, but calderon -200 doesnt strike me as solid as guzman -200 does.

i agree with frank that valuev isnt a lock over ruiz, i put small on the draw and parlayed ruiz way back for a small play at +480 odds. ruiz's age shouldnt effect him, god knows his gameplan involes no speed, reflexes, timing, and dare i say 'talent'. he really has to win this bout and convincingly to get the decision, and furthermore any kind of payday or television exposure, i dont think he'll go down without a fight. hopefully SD props for both guys open.

frank, id appreciate if you passed on the info about juan diaz's camp from your colleague, there's not much stopping me from playing him huge right now, and medium inside. this looks like a perfect match-up for him, and a perfect parlay partner in the coming weeks. im definitely more confident in him than in jm marquez.

Cazares was @ 112 lbs on monday, so he looks good to go.

Ruiz is tough to beat, Valuev looked improved in his last fight, but that was a single fight against an overweighed Lyakhovich, so I dont know if this means too much.

I had Ruiz ahaed last time...Valuev is the favorite, but thats well reflected in the odds. Night Janitor is about right with his draw bet...split decision or majority decision props would be nice as well.

i think the draw prop is an excellent idea...chances are it`s gonna be very competittve...

I'll take the ugly Calderon W. Probably buy back a little on Kat-Diaz as I expect $ to trickle in on Diaz this week. Still think Kat is making a rash/impulsive move here to fight the baby bull. I think he wants to take a bold leap to get back in the mix, but it may backfire. Lots of guys, coming off a loss, are anxious to redeem themselves, but sometimes it is an emotional decision, rather than a smart business decision.
