like i said, texas has a very legitimate beef if they get left out and alabama is in. BUT... that was, what, milroe's second start of his career? alabama is a much better team now than they were in september.
i certainly don't envy the committee. but if it were up to me, i can't leave out the two best teams from the best conference. and it's not even close. their job is to select the 4 best teams, right? not to do what's "fair."
fsu also would have a very legit gripe if they're left out. 12-0 in a power 5 conference (the ACC still counts, right?) and they won the conference championship with a 3rd string qb. it may not be "fair" leaving them out, but they are not one of the top 4 teams.
i think you have to take georgia, alabama, and michigan. they are the top 3 teams. and then one hell of an argument between washington, fsu, and texas.

Oxnard is the winner. FSU would get blown out by every team currently in the top 8. Bama vs Texas rematch for National Championship.
You guys are ridiculous. Of course FSU was no offense - it was their 3rd string freshman 3 star QB who virtually hasn't ever taken a snap in college. Alabama was BEAT by an average at best Auburn team, but for the flukiest of end of game plays. And Georgia struggled at full strength against GA Tech! Anything can happen in college football, including FSU winning with a backup QB (who will be playing) if they make the Final 4.

based on the current odds... it looks like Michigan (duh) and Washington are in. Texas is -750, so they are almost definitely in. The last spot is a toss-up between Alabama and FSU.
Sucks how the set up is, glad they will expand the field next year, too little to late I may add, Florida State is deserving based on their record but not based on how they played the last 2 weeks, they're highly disappointed as many here are too, be sure to watch their line in a Bowl game and see if they take it out on whomever they play, I'd love to see them play, Oregon or Oklahoma!!
