Its not that much money, $200. Buts ITS MINE DAMMIT and I want it.

They're holding mine due to a credit card company deciding to no longer "credit" peoples money back to their account if its from Firepay (the CC knows its from gambling). Their supposed to be issuing FP the money and FP will then send to me. I have a "case" number and I call every week. This has been going on since December!

Customer service is a joke, I would stay away from Fire Pay!

Well now the question at hand is this, can I call my bank and dispute a charge to Firepay? My credit card is a Visa Check card so it comes straight from my bank account. After reading all these posts I am quite upset about the whole situation.... Seems like a shady way of doing business firepay does.

LP7SLIP,

Have you tried to get it out yet? If you haven't, I would try first. Use charge back as the last resort.

I think you'll get it. I now use a visa check card too, its the best way to avoid credit card companies deciding not to accept casino or sport book buyins.

Good luck

Well,

Just to give yall an update with Firepay before I knew about all this chit that is going down with them I did deposit money with them and then I saw these posts, well today I got a phone call telling me my Visa Check Card had a negative balance. I deposited 500 dollars and apparently I was charged by Firepay two times, I didn't get the other 500 in my account so needless to say I am pissed. Firepay said there systems were down and they can't do anything right now and my bank said to keep on calling them... Total BS if you ask me

I had very bad experiences with them, as well. I have not used them in 6 months, and don't ever plan on doing business with them again, either.

Just to give another brief update:

Firepay can suck my left nut :thefinger

My bank called today and I had to close my debit card to make sure that Firepay would not make anymore unwanted transactions, I must say I am glad that I have a good bank and good customer service or I would really be in a bind. The lady at the bank is going to charge back all of the money into a new account and speak with the fraud department today to see what is going on. She said she has heard of such instances before like this and I told her everything about what has happened. Basically the people at Firepay told me more or less to go screw myself as far as these phantom charges go. What really sucks is I have online banking and I was checking my statements and it says right there that there are 4 charges to Firepay 2 for $200 and 2 for $300 yet my Firepay account was only credited with the $500 that I did charge to them, I just wonder were that other $500 is. Well I am not going to worry to much about it, they will get theres when my bank and the fraud department gets a hold of them. From now on I am sticking to Western Union and straight cash.

Hope no one has to go through this, and please be advised with Firepay. THanks yall

Is there any way to avoid using fire pay for a charge back if there not paying and having problems?? Because back in December and January I used fire pay to deposit around $1000 to Olympic. I have built it up but I hardly want to get scammed $1000 by fire pay if I withdraw from my account.

What's the policy at Olympic or any other book that uses fire pay if you shut down your account entirely at fire pay because you think your going to have problems with getting credited? I know that I deposited of about $400 of that $1000 off my mastercard before Mastcard stopped doing internet transactions. Does Olympic know their having problems?

Any ideas would be helpful.

are any of y'all still having problems with firepay? I made a deposit into one of my accounts from firepay. I am now going to have to re-credit it back to firepay as I am withdrawing the money from the book. Just wondering if I should close my firepay account entirely and tell the sportsbook that I don't have the account anymore...

any input appreciated.

thanks.

yeah I would say negative on that...... Make sure you get it the other way, my bank faxed my copy of the double charge that Firepay did on my visa debit card and the customer service agent said that "We of no knowledge of a fax coming in, and we advise people to send directly because BANKS DON'T DO WHAT THEY SAY!!!" What the **** is that supposed to mean? I am getting pissed with these people..... So needless to say I am still having trouble

Since you guys aren't betting 'dimes a game'. Don't you have a 'local guy',shit I must know 10 guys in the business, because they know, sooner or later, they end up with OUR money ???
I have 3 offshores ,but I bet more with my 'guys'. They will always come across with a pair of Golds for a Flyer game . Man, it's ALOT easier developing a history with a guy you 'know is good' for the $$$,and HE buys the donuts too !!!!!!
Every Monday, (during football) he is at my place at 12;15 p.m.
Do a little homework on a few 'locals',as they will on you.Shit, you guys gotta know someone, and you don't have to go through this Bullshit...Just find the right couple of well heeled guys and keep it close to home.
Dam,after ENRON ,who the hell can you trust ??
Only one guy,and that's 'the Book'.
Good Luck ,hope you guys get what is YOURS....Spanky....

Just a brief update for you all...

It has been 8 days now since Firepay charged my account $500 dollars extra, I have called in excess of 15 times with the same BS story, my bank has charged me $35 dollar overdraft fees three times, the bank has called firepay, firepay says they have all the info and tell me to call back everyday, I don't know if I ever will see this money, I am disputing with all can. Just a little pissed off right now, have lost faith in these kind of companies and will not have anything to do with them in the future, strictly cash. I am on the phone with them as we speak, i am on hold actually.......
