i said it last week when the whole world was on LSU. nobody listened. once again, uf will get it done. auburn has been exposed. it began with south carolina. their run defense is horrible. now, florida's rushing attack doesnt compare to arkansas, but deshawn wynn will be back, and i dont need to tell you about tim tebow. you saw in the south carolina game what an offense could do by simply spreading the field and letting a mobile QB operate. urban meyer must be licking his chops. this gator team is on a mission. the defense will have no trouble shutting down kenny irons. florida +2 is a gift.

I am not sure you can be sold on Florida being a consistent solid team, week in week out.

It is interesting that the #2 team in the AP poll is 2pt underdogs @AU, when AU was just smoked by Arkansas @AU lead by freshman QB, the same Arkansas team that was smoked by the #3 AP team USC 50-14 @Arkansas.

I think Auburn wins. You will see Florida play Auburn like they played the below average Alabama team 2 weeks ago. That was @FL. You can't bank on Florida being consistently solid and racking up W's. I think they are too shakey.Just my opinion.

Although the win @TN will help big time in preparing to play @Auburn. I think its safe to say AU was flat against Arkansas and poorly prepared. I doubt that will be the case against FL.

All in all, I see this game going either way.

i think all that "come out mad after the loss" stuff is overrated. all that goes away after the first snap anyway. the fact of the matter is that south carolina drove it down auburn's throat 2 weeks ago and should have won. we all know what arkansas did. i have no doubt that florida will be able to duplicate the offensive performances of both of these teams. while i still have some questions about urban meyer's offense, i feel it is the perfect offense to absolutely shred auburn's porous defense this year. the florida D is stout. marcus thomas is now back and no one has been able to run all year. kenny irons will be held in check and the gators will force brandon cox to beat them, and i don't think he will. i feel like auburn has just been overrated from the beginning of the season, and now that is becoming very apparent. while i don't think they are as bad as they showed last week, they are not a top 10 caliber team. you can't tell me that jordan-hare stadium will be as raucous on saturday night as it would have been if the tigers were still undefeated. i just don't think the arkansas loss should be viewed as a positive for auburn when considering this week. florida +121 now looks like a great value.

I concur. Auburn should be able to run the football. The public will be all over FLA. I can hear it now..."Aub got their butt whipped by Arky @ home. #2 (or#3) Fla is going to roll them. Not how it works though. Arky returned 5 starters at OL, and have 2 excellent RBs. FLA does not have that type of ground attack. Aub will get it done, especially if Gators are feeling good about temselves.

I am fairly certain Aub will not muff a punt and a kickoff, and chances are that Aub will not fumble at the gator 1 yd line.

Remember guys that Florida has played 1 road game all year and they barely got by a Tennessee team that were up 10 late in the game. If it wasn't for some piss poor play calling in that one....well, it can be debated...

I like Auburn big...got them at -1 when it came out.

I was being serious when I said that Florida doesn't play road games.

I think they seriously have fell into a comfort zone there at the swamp...Tebow isn't going to be as pumped playing in front of the War Eagle fans.

My prediction - Tebow has at least one turnover, even in limited duty.

I think Fla is being overlooked, yet again. They have not been a covering machine (Tenn, Ala, KY all covered against them) However, I see much more of a letdown from AU then Fla here. I think Fla will be fired up and take care of business this weekend.

the same thing happens every week. florida is disrespected. the great thing is, they absolutely LOVE it and use it as fuel to continually get the job done. maybe a win at auburn is what it's gonna take, but i would bet that wont even be enough

what disrespect is florida getting (thats not on mjs)? Almost all of the media have Fla 2-5? Being a slight dog at last weeks #2 Home court?

How dare they!!!

i was laughing at the same thing. florida playing the disrespect card? thats funny. theyre one of the most popular teams in america year in and out in terms of name recognition from the media, sports bettors, and general public, and the line for this week is shaved a field goal in their favor.

you guys are disrepecting the fact that they are being disrespected? That's just down right disrepectful. Fla gets some sloppy 2nd's from Arkansas' beeyatches this weekend.

when people continue to question your talent after beating the likes of tennessee, alabama, and LSU, i qualify that as disrespect.

special teams were terrible. lsu dominated fla in the 1st half, but failed to score.......russel may as well move to TE now because he will never see a snap at qb in the nfl.

i have, over the years, bet on fla to a fault. they are interesting on offense this year. i am not convinced they are that great yet. after AU i will be a believer. this game will be tough again. qb at aub appears shakey at times as well. still not sure who i will bet on. mcfadden may be the best rb in the country from one week to the next.

One interesting aspect to this game. Auburn has a BIG edge at kicker. Florida kicker is 0/4 this year. Meyer said he is contemplating a change at that position for more production. Vaughn solid since LSU debacle last year.

In a close game, wouldn't want to overlook kicker factor.
