I saw him live twice and havent seen the intensity he put forth since young Mike Tyson. Sad day for boxing. It's going to take a minor miracle for Kirkland to beat this. He could very well end up in the slammer for a few yrs. I hope the best for him but it's not looking good at all:sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave:
Yes in texas, when you breck your probation, you ususally get considerable jail time on a felony armed robbery conviction. On ESpn2, Ran Reafel said they tried to get an off-duty policeman to transport him to Las Vegas and back toTexas for the May 2nd fight against Michael Walker on the Hatton vs PacMan undercard, but the damn judge said no. The judge should of let him fight. There is precidence of this happening before. I believe Oliver McCall and Tony Ayala were brought to sperarte fights in handcuffs and then brought back to jail while still awaiting trail. SO there is precidence for this to happen, but Kirkland gets the long end of the broomstick with no vaseline.
