Did anyone get a piece of the +3050 on "Cink or Parry to win" at Oly? Noticed it a couple of hours ago, but had to go out, but it had been taken down when I came back! Anyway, plan B ...

Further outright play (total stake: 1.5pts)

Stewart Cink to win 25/1 e.w. @ BetInternet
It?s a rather impressive leaderboard with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh all in the top-5 and Retief Goosen just one shot further back. So it was a good job that Tim Clark was advised at a place-only bet! He currently lies in joint-5th position so could still provide a very healthy return on the event. However, one player who sits beside him in 5th place is also worthy of attention: Stewart Cink.

Simply put, if he had not hit two balls into the water on his last hole of the first round, he would have been in sole 2nd place, one shot behind Mickelson. That he didn?t let it affect him and he shot 65 in the 2nd round is testimony to the far stronger player that he is now mentally than when he came so close in the 2001 U.S. Open. Ranked 3rd in greens in regulation and 10th in putts per greens in regulation, he is playing well enough to at least challenge Mickelson and overcome the difficult handicap that he set himself on Thursday.

On the course!
Phil -155 vs "field" +130

Hey, I know Lefty has been tossing turds at all comers, but that course has yielded some wicked scores! Phil has been driving like crap, and that could haunt him today, wouldn't you think?

With the scores being put up, even a 5 under par round by Phil could have him way down the leader board! Plus, playing with Tiger today?

I know he has looked real good lately, but I think you can find some value on the field wager today.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Sunday:

Woods(-163) over Mickelson @ 5dimes
- - It's not the Super Bowl, but a play today is every bit as obligatory. Mickelson extending his lead on Bermuda greens will be quite the feat.

Also:

Furyk(-125) over Choi @ 5dimes

You guys are nuts, overreacting to one good round by Tiger just like the announcers. Phil is stone cold on fire and has wanted this for a long time. Phil rolls!!!

FINAL RESULT: 0-4; -6.00pts

Love mc
Choi 64th
Clark 16th
Cink 26th

Disappointing return on the event when Clark had been around the top-five all week. He had been well-placed on Sunday, but his chances ended when he took four shots to get down from the edge of the third green.
