yeppers....debate on here all the time....all in good fun (well umm except for this new guy Rowdy!!!)

Anderson versus Forrest, looking forward to it:SIB

Of course the UFC in now way is saying that they want this fight to be exciting.....that would be illegal. And in no way will the UFC say that the KO bonus will be big, no that would be illegal in someones eyes:rolleyes:

You don't influence the fight when you offer a huge bonus for a KO. For those that think that the only "bonuses" are the ones the UFC publishes on their website well they are silly madjackers:SIB

I will be shocked if this fight is boring, if it is you know Dana will have an embolism :142smilie

Evolved? Wandy has fought the same way his whole life, not sure what you're expecting all of the sudden....

Testing?...Rua, Rampage, Nog?

Nog hasnt looked that great in the ufc.. rua looked good his last fight before that he looked like shit.

I am just saying to improve.. KenFlo has improved greatly, Anderson has gotten better with age, Rashads skills have improved.

Guys like Joe Daddy and Wand have not

Rua looked like shit for obvious reasons, INJURIES...pretty clear and obvious. The haters are the only ones who think he was struggling because of "juice."

KenFlo is going to get humbled by BJ...

Well i know there are the nuthuggers who will always love wandy and think he has a chance to win a belt again, but i go on facts.. fact is ever since he came over to the ufc and they started testing he has been below average, any other fighter would be cut by now..
His skills havent evolved like the top guys..

Oh my feelings on this thread? Give me Silva for the Max. He will run right thru Forrest.

I hope everyone has this thinking including Vegas, I'll take my chances on Forrest +200 or so. What do you guys think the odds will be? Yes Spider is the better fighter but you cant coach a weight difference like that. Put it this way, if Forrest puts a game plan together that doesnt consist of continue to move forward until you fall down, then he has a heck of a chance. In my opinion if he takes Spider down, spider could tire and Forrest could even submit him but more likely pound him. Silva has never really been hit so who knows what his chin is like.

What do you put the odds at?

I am trying to figure out why people act like there will be this huge weight difference.. Spider cuts a ton of weight to fight at 185 he is a natural 205er.. go look at the fight vs irvin. He

I dont think it is about their actual weight on the scale, Forrest is just a big farm boy type, with huge shoulders and and Spider is well more of a fighter that cuts a bunch of weight. IDK maybe you guys are right, all I am saying is if Forrest is +200 or better I would put my money with the underdog. If forrest comes out and executes a good game plan of not just stadning and throwing punches he has a better than punchers chance.

At fight time, Forrest will most likely have maybe 10-15 pounds on him, nothing that makes a difference, IMO.

Forrest might be a big farm boy, but if you've ever seen Anderson in person, he's huge...

Derrick, Irvin is a bad person to compare him to because Irvn was a small 205er and I believe he is or has moved down to MW now because of it.

Height wise Silva won't be smaller than many 205ers but come fight time he will be weight wise. Forrest is one of the bigger at 205 so it's really just a matter of how much weight he puts back on after weigh ins. I agree with Rowdy, it's more than likely 10-15 pounds.

I can promise one thing, Forrest has no threat standing against Silva. I love Forrest but he has NO power in his hands. The biggest factor and it's because of size is the speed factor. I think that's the reason Silva never gets hit, he's quick and long. I doubt Forrest does any damage standing. IMO his only chance is to GNP it.

Anything over 250 and I'll take my chances on Forrest. I don't think he wins but anything like what you guys are talking about makes him a good bet.

Personally I can see -225 maybe.

No freaking way. -250 or below. Now way in hell Si.va will be a three and a quarter to 425 fav.

Just because Anderson is -325 to -425 favorite doesn't mean Forrest will be a +325 or +425...

Forrest is highly OVERRATED, IMO, so I'd love to see the books give him that in this fight. I'd LOAD UP on -225... 2:1 on the worlds best fighter????
