Day 10 Action

Parlay
---------------------------------------------------
Jo-wilfried Tsonga +3.5 Games
Agnieszka Radwanska
David Ferrer -8.5 Games
Svetlana Kuznetsova +6.5 games

odds = $12.60 (+1160) *0.75 unit

Years ago, I was in a Vegas sportsbook. Two street-people were in front of me. They were contemplating the card. They liked a few games, but couldn't afford multiple tickets. Guy says:

"We're so poor that we have to parlay it."

There are perfectly valid reasons to parlay; the bias against parlays is wrong, particularly in the NFL.

Actually, I meant to say TEASERS in the NFL. D'oh.

Parlays do have their place. I have found that, if you're purely trying to make money, either stick to 2-parlays, or do tiny speculative ones with huge payoffs - these CAN be hit. It's when you put a fair amount of money on 3-4-5 parlays it's very difficult to come out ahead.

Really like watching Haas. The depth he gets on the average shot is amazing, in relation to the number of misses.
