I cant believe Coria lost in straight set's, you know the odds on Verkerk to win 3-0 were 14-1 and I had Coria at +1.5 set's, My first parlay loss of the French open

Final French open stat's:
Parlay's: 12-1 +68 U
side's: 0-3 -5.1 U
Total: 12-4 +62.9

a great run for you man. you can't win forever.

looks like a great tournament for me especially w/ my futures calls. i called the all belgian final for the women. and i predicted agassi and ferrero. 3/4 not bad:D
now my only decision is to hedge or not. will win over 75 units if ferrero takes it. might have to hedge a bit on verkerk. hopefully we will see +300 or higher on verkerk. very good chance of hitting my 100 units for the tournament when it is all said and done.

THANK YOU KIM CLIJSTERS, JUSTINE HENIN AND JUAN CARLOS FERRERO ;)

and looking ahead to Sunday.....take note of this stat:

THE NUMBER 3 and Verkerk

The number of match points he saved in the third round against Peruvian Luis Horna. Down 5-2, and 0-40 in the fourth set, Verkerk hit back with three aces and eventually ran out winner 4/6, 6/4, 4/6, 7/5, 6/2.

hmmmmmmm.....could it be destiny

can you imagine having that ticket...and he's only got one more win to go

if he wins.....somebody out there is going to be real real happy...read an article where one dutch women put 50 US bucks on him to win............wow...what a sweet payoff

ya know there's some dude out there that has 100 bucks on him

well they better hedge away because verkerk is going to get run off the court by an experienced clay court specialist!

nice run verkerk, but it is once in a blue moon that nobodies win a major....and i just took a look at the moon, and it looks normal to me.

Sunday Picks
-----------------

Scale 100-500

M. Verkerk beat J-C. Ferrero $3.60 *200

Ruano Pascal/Suarez beat Clijsters/Sugiyama $1.85 *350

M.VERKERK +1.5 sets $2.50 *375

ok ok.........I know some guys in here have Fererro to win it all....I thing Big T bet his house :D

BUT..........

here is why I like the HUUUGE doggie:

1) Destiny..........see previous post.

2) Nothing.....and I mean....nothing tp lose....absolutely no pressure.........remember this is men's tennis.....anybody can beat anybody...just look at the guys Verkerk has beaten......and before this tourney...he HAD NEVER WON A GRAND SLAM MATCH

3) When Kuerten won here some years back he wasn't even ranked in Top 50.......so why can't it happen again

4) His serve is HUGE........and he can muster up lots of free points.

5) The Crowd...........they will be all over Verkerk....cheering every point.........

and most important.......

6) The pressure on Fererro will be enormous........Ferrero has EVERYTHING to lose.........he's clearly the clay god and having never won a grand slam he won't have anything to "fall back on". He will never have a better chance then this.....he's a HUGE fav and when everybody "expects" you to win.......it makes it tough. Plus Ferrero has never won "the big match"....lost some big davis cup matches and has that stigma attached to him (the ever popular "can't win the big one").

so........I'm going with the huge doggie..........and what a great story it will be if Verkerk pulls it out........but I'll tell ya right now......if Ferrero "goes into the tank" he will never live it down.

as you can see........Fererro has tons to prove in this match.....

if Verkerk wins the first set.......LOOK OUT

15 units on verkerk +275. Purely for a hedge. I hate to do this as I feel Ferrero will win, but that wacky Dutchman has beaten Moya and Coria. If I don't hedge, and Verkerk wins, I'd be very upset.
So, if JCF wins, I make a bit over 60 units and finish above 100 units for the French Open. If Verkerk pulls off the shocker, I'll make a bit over 30 units and finish above 70 units for the French Open. OTP likes JCF. I think JCF wins, but I have to hedge.
