I think they are peeking and are too athletic for Purdue. It took them a while to gel but I really like what I have seen of late from them

Illinois St +1.5 (fanduel) (3:30pm) I am going to against my better judgment (because I always ride Belmont) but I don’t think this is the same kind of Belmont team as years past. Illinois St is well balanced and a type of team that can stress Belmont. I think they win outright.

They had one good game against a really bad Michigan team that can’t shoot box out or rebound. Before that Like bombs said. They looked real bad for a stretch of a few games. I like Illinois tonight bc Purdue isn’t that great either. Don’t know about a monster play. But I’m with ya. GL

I respect your opinion, but I would counter they waxed Michigan o their home floor. On a Sunday game - where you know that is whe you get the best crowd (tailgate etc) and that was after crushing Iowa also coming off their tremendous loss to Duke. I agree - they had looked terrible for several games prior - but I ask you to join me in looking (or BUYING low) on certain teams that have obvious talent and maybe (just maybe) have turned the corner! That is basically an angle I try and take advantage of. I can bet you can see my angle! I appreciate your insight

Illinois has the most talented roster in the Big 10 but they are so reliant on the 3 pointer. If they are off, it can crush them. Jakucionis hasn't looked the same since hurting his wrist, but looked great vs Michigan so maybe he's feeling better.

I took Drake -9 and Belmont +1 this morning. Like Drake quite a bit as the Salukis have been giving up a lot of points recently and think Drake wins by double digits. Lean Over in that game, but passed since almost 2/3 of games during Arch Madness have gone Under the total in recent years.

I took Belmont +1 since they are the more rested team and I want some action on a game on local TV where I live this afternoon. I don't have a good feeling either way on that game but like grabbing a point and hoping being rested has benefits late in what should be a close game.

D - I completely understand! 🤫 I do the exact same thing and I’m sorry were on opposite sides…your probably on right side because Belmont al finds a way. I just see a different team this year that I think Illinois St can exploit. I have no handi the Drake game but I’ll take a look at it.

Drake line has jumped to-11, I’m looking at the live lines now (I’m a member at 3 dif live line sites) give me a minute and I’ll let you know if it looks like sharp money or light action that other books followed
