Not to be a "Debbie Downer", but this took place at Uruguay's Hotel Conrad in 2017 and the wager was placed by Brazilian businessman Pedro Grendene Bartelle, who just happens to have a gazillion dollars. And the so called "friends" were mostly his business associates. So yeah it was just a bunch of rich dudes showing off. Now yes, rich dudes can have fun as well but it wasn't like it was a group of random dudes hitting it big.

With all that said, nice job hitting the number 32, I hope they handed out a nice tip to the lady that spun the ball.
