Apparently, the more pink, the more aware I get. Just having it on the shoes, wristbands, helmets, hats, field and TV simply won't do. I bet my awareness would go up a little more if they made the goal posts pink.
Cris: My wife lost her mother to BC and I have two women that work for me that have it. It's terrible. My point is, less fucking money spent on pink shit, and more money for research. Wearing pink wristbands doesn't help anyone. JMO.
Totally understand your point, but think about this, without the overstated pink wristbands we wouldn't be having this conversation. Without all the pink and different events and such, the funding for research of breast cancer may be on a level parallel to Lou Gehrig's Disease or something like that. You and I have been around long enough to get sick of all the pink stuff but there is a new generation of young people and visitors tuning in every week and season so I understand it. Just sayin
Yes it annoys me a little also, but if all I have to suffer through is a month of pink so someone can have a mother/sister/daughter/wife around for another couple of decades I am OK with that. Props to the NFL.
