Rose -110 over Verplank

Props today were tough--too many intangibles--weather,will they ever move tees back--and Mike did not leave them up long because of possible weather change he's getting much sharper on these props.
After good 2 days took it on chin on most props yesterday as I went for wind and length and got just the opposite.
Throwing more mystery in todays rd they got over inch of rain since yesterday pm. Today should favor pickers of balls rather than those divot takers however LC & P will diminish that somewhat.
Went with Rose over Verplank mainly on account of distance and Rose being use to playing in adverse weather--despite accuracy playing important role in LC & P these fairways are generous.
Will be hoping for rain myself and hope they call it at conclusion of 3rd rd.

A nice profit on the event, but not the bumper payout that had been hoped for when both Calc and Ogilvy had started the final day in 2nd place. Ogilvy only had to par the last hole from the middle of the fairway to earn a full payout and 2nd place, but he couldn't manage that ... precisely why he was a place-only bet!
