My guess of the worst possible Blackjack play would be to double down on a Hard 16 vs the dealer 10.

This is a guess, but I'll say it would be splitting 5's into a 7 (rather than doubling down on 10).

Not accepting the automatic payout of a 10,A (blackjack), and doubling down on the 11 instead. Against anything the dealer is showing.

Not even sure if you have this option.

It's hitting a 16 against a dealer's 5...

I once had that happen at a table I was at and almost threw up... Of course we (the table)lost the hand and I immediately left the table. $25 minimum table no less...

standing on a pair of aces versus a dealer's 6 showing

It would be a brutally bad play, and I can't imagine anyone doing it, to stay on 11 into a 4, 5 or 6.

- sticking on a soft 17 vs. anything the dealer is showing
