totally agree with you...little by little, day by day thats the way to do it.

i never had a problem with betting medium sized wagers, and ive sure as hell never put my bankroll on a play, the one area that i do need to work on though is chaseing!!! if i have a loosing day its hard for me not to chase and try and get it back. sometimes it works but most of the time i loose even more. i have been a little more disciplined in recent weeks and its paid off big time. but it still hard for me to go to bed on a loosing day..

good luck

Fletch ...you are a Player..Someone that bets when he has a a reasonable expectation to win & uses money management!

Hello ...is a Gambler plays to play....

You were 100% correct in what you sais & the smartest thing Hello could do is to print your words out andput a copy in his wallet ..one day when he reaches in for money and there sn't any...he might want to take another look @ what you said..

Anyone that uses a non diciplined approach to gambling because it's fun is a wreck waiting to happen & it will!!!

been there done it ...was not able to buy th t-shirt or food....very humbling experience and worst of all I hurt some others and some i was not able to make ammends with.

My story would make you cry...............
HELL IT STILL MAKES ME CRY!

But just like a good pass ..the guy you're throwing to must be ready to catch it..

You were on the money but your reciever didn't have his eye on the ball..

Anybody that has been involved in any type of serious gambling (sports, cards, casino, horses) knows that Fletcher is right. There is a night and day difference between a gambler and a player. A gambler may make some big hits, but in the end, he must go down. Money management is the only sensible way to approach any type of business decision. Of course, some people choose not to be sensible, and I guess that is their right. There are many wealthy people that lose money gambling consistantly. Fletcher is addressing a different animal and his words should have meaning to all of us who wager. We are all big boys here and sometimes the truth hurts. But that is no reason to deny the truth.
