actually the guy typifies trial lawyers.....would expect nothing better from them

they are experts at character assassination; confusing reality with speculation and truth with fiction; and showering guilt on the hard-working, productive American

Eddie fits the role of this disgrace of a cockroach

it is terrible that the west UK and Britain have accepted Colonel Gadafy apology. He blew up flight Pan Am flight 103 and funded terrorism around the world.

but is now accepted as "reformed", he has ruled Libya for over 34 years in a brutal manner. Ironic when Blair visited Gadafy they announced oil contracts with Shell and Bae.

Libya has 3% of the worlds oil supply and recovery can be expanded and costs as low as 1-4 $ a barrel.

they also have 50-70 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

it is sad when a terrorist can get off the hook by throwing money around. when you blow up airliner full of innocent civilians there should be no deals. You should be hunted down and destroyed.

nothing to do with Iraq but was bothered when saw how Libya is going to expand oil/gas production. deals with a murderer should always be turned down.

however cdn., US, UK, oil and gas companies are looking at investments in this country.

no amount of money or apologies will bring back the victims of Pan AM flight 103 to their families.

thanks

FN that pitcure brings back memories. After raseing 4 kids and now in the middle of 7 grand kids.
I guess for some of you that keep saying Bush should stick to his plan. You all must know something the rest of us have not been told yet. That there is a plan. Like his press conferance yesterday. The reason he didn't mention his plan so much is because he has none. And to be blowen away on a question about Sammy Sosa and mistakes. That show's great strength?
We have to be talking about two differant guys.

CT guy if I had just went through what you said you did. With that hot flare up hit from the hip approch to things. I would stay the hell away from these discussions. Your health is more important. You should read a nice book or watch a old western. But relax forsure. ;) Your last remarks didn't add much anyway.
When nothing to say is in our heads. It's always good to just attack someone.

djv, don't worry about me. I have my wife to thank for the last few posts, as she more than able to recognize a liberal wacko and whiner like yourself. She doesn't type any better than myself, but at least she is able to get thru it with out being so tired as I am.

BTW, I might not post here like my husband, but after going through some of your posts djv, I don't think Jim is too far off of his opinion of you, albeit your right to those thoughts, I feel you definitely do not add anything to this debate, but crocodile tears of a Bush basher. Have a nice Day Mr djv:)

Thank God there are some clear thinking guys on this board.

So sick of the extreme, blinding bias against this man who had the worst set of cards ever dealt to a President seven months into his first term. All the hell he has done is devote his entire being into making sure that 911 never happens again. Dispute his decisions all you want but to attack him as something less than a man, particularly when you had eight years of a do nothing, duplicitous, lying under oath, disgracing the oval office, draft dodging, change his political spots on a monthly basis President, is bias of the highest order.

Agree with Bush or not but at least recognize that he is a man of conviction and is not afraid to do what he thinks is right and in the best interest of our country. And personal opinions and polls be damned. That's the kind of man this country should revere and instead he gets attacked as the "worst president of all time." What absolute hogwash. The last two Democratic Presidents were complete pussies who were totally impotent against attacks on our nation. Carter and Clinton were both bailed out by two Republican Presidents who were men of conviction and realized the dangers of being passive. Reagan's legacy will forever be secure due to the collapse of Communism and time will show what a great man Bush was. End of story.

Good point about tough questions. Considering how secretive this administration is, any tough questions from reporters and they would be picking thorns out of their buttocks while sitting on the ground in the Rose Garden.

Edward the bold

Did you notice how George W called most of the reporters by their
first name ?

that should tell you something right there.

When George W was asked if he made any mistakes instead of saying he needed it in writing maybe he should of replied something as follows.

Mistakes. Yes I have made mistakes. Hasn't eveyone. This has been a most difficult time in American history to be President.

The challenges must be met and in the long run we will benift.

These terrorists will not just go away. Their whole world is based upon death and high stakes fanaticism.

If I could of done something to have prevented the deaths
on 911, I would have. If I could of changed the course of some of the events that we find ourselves in today , in many ways, I would have. If I could take back time and give the families their loved ones back, I would do that in a heartbeat.

I am sorry to say that there are some things a President can't
do. I will tell you that I have a plan for peace and not one for war. No one likes killing. No one more than I , wants to see our men and woman serving proudly in the armed services to come home to their loved ones as soon as possible.

We are fighting now for the basic freedoms for future generations to come. And also for the very safety of our homeland.

I will make a promise to all Americans.

I will continue this fight and not let up until these scoundrals are brought to justice.

We will stay the course in Iraq. We will continue to fight terrorism wherever we find it.

Our futures and the well being of every American is at stake here.

I call on all world leaders to step forward now and offer any help they can give us to maintain Iraq as a free and independant country. I ask for your support and patience in this very trying time for all Americans.

Good night and God Bless America

It is a crying shame some in this thread are even allowed to vote. They should create an IQ limit for voters.

Gardenweasel:

There is one point that you made that I would like to comment on, that is, that the 9-11 commission is a joke. I agree, pure politics. However, behind the scenes of the 9-11 commission is non other than my favorite behind the scenes mover and shaker Dick "Hawkster" Cheney.

Cheney knew that when it was inevitable that he and his cohorts were going to be called on the carpet for 9-11 he insisted on an "independent" bipartisan commision because he knew historically such commission as opposed to a congressional group have been hugely ineffective. Once again, the evil one from Haliburton, lurking in the shadows, gets his way.

Maybe there is one point the members of the Hitler youth who are responding to this thread do not realize is that I do not believe 9-11 could have been prevented (other than with a major overhaul of US corporate international policies and procedures). I do not blame Bush or anyone else for the occurences that day (other than overall ineffectual government, that is, the government always reacts to tradgedy instead of being proactive to prevent it, hence the bullshit security at airports).

My point about government is that when you entrust anything to government they will find a way to f*** it up. In general, the laziness of most government employees guarantees ineffectual worker production and failure. With that said, I believe, in a free country you cannot prevent 9-11 from happening (again unless we change corporate americas international philosophy which aint gonna happen). So we live with the threat and the risk.

Scott:

Bush admitted he doesn't think very well on his feet. Actually, I would have put a period in that sentence after the word "think". Although the Hitler youth who dominate this board are proud of this puppet, I believe the majority of thinking Americans and non-americans see him for the unadulterated moron that he in fact is.

If you listen closely to his "answers" to reporters he was not even responding to their questions but, rather was blurting out, albeit poorly, some rehearsed garbage about how bad he felt blah, blah, blah and how we are going to continue to kill people to support his invasion. The only positive that may come from this unprecedented invasion is that this clown should be a one-term president.

Mr M. Thank you. As one of the few clear thinking people on this board, I appreciate the comment. You moron. The worse set of cards dealt to him!!!! Really!!!! Other than f****** up the economy, strengthening corporate welfare and providing tax breaks to his criminal corporate buddies, 9-11 WAS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO BUSH. It gave him a chance to be the renegade cowboy and hawk that he and President Cheney truly are. It gave him an EXCUSE to invade another country, avenge daddy, be the bullie that he is, and secure oil for the future of corporate america.

What an idiot you are. Hold this criminal in esteem. Boy are you dumb. The sob in DC owes Mohammed Atta a huge favor, albeit posthumously. Without 9-11, Kerry landslide. Making sure 9-11 doesn't happen again???? God, what planet do you live on. It's gonna happen again no matter if you have to wait 3 hours at the airport you thick headed dolt. It is not preventable unless this brazen, bully of a country we live in realizes that AMERICA MAKES MISTAKES and must realize we live in a word of different cultures. You see, the criminal the other night would not admit a mistake. That is exactly the attitude that provoked 9-11.

Clean your own house before you forcibly decide to clean someone elses. And then of course, we go into the Clinton mantra again and again and again. The good thing is I don't have to get callous' on my fingertips cause its brief:

Lies:

Clinton=BJ
Bush=WMD

That is all ye know and all ye need to know.

I love the emotional play boys. Thats good. Real good. Singing God Bless America showing pictures of 9-11 in a thread about Bush and Iraq. Kinda proves my point about the blatant bigotry on this board (as Marge Schott called Eric Davis a 3 million dollar nigger but, said she wasn't a bigot). I think the mentality on this board is that "if its brown, shoot it down." God help this country if bigots like most of you are the majority.

This idiot from Cleveland is oh so typical of the extreme right that dominate this board. Blind, stupid, bigoted, and always ready to punch someone who says something he doesn't like. You can't get through to people like that. They are so insecure in there beliefs that they have to cling to whatever propoganda the spinmakers and who they perceive to be in the majority send there way. They are the ones that will screw there friends, neighbors and are totally "me" oriented.

There favorite shows are American Idol, Rush Limbaugh and are mostly born again Christians. They rationalize, justify and use there new found faith to only support there belief system and discard those concepts that do not fit such system. Truly sad, sad, sheep. Ctown, I don't hate you, I feel very sorry for you. Actually, I feel more sorry for your wife. When the time comes, Mrs. Ctown, call me and I'll refer you to a good domestic relations lawyer in your area who specializes in spousal abuse (probably both mental and physical).

Fat & Sassy:

I'm not in prison with you. Enough said.

Ah, the good doctor has returned for more brilliant comment and opinion. Are you any relation to Timmy MacVeigh? Seriously, you need therapy (and thorazine). What facts did you post quack. By the way, moron, at least I'm a real attorney and not some clown who pretends to be a doctor. Based upon your prior posts you know medicine about as much as Dr. Strangelove.

You are a fraud like the Cheney, Rumsfeld and Bushes of the world. Go to hell.

Speaking of MacVeigh, Wayne, what did he do in Oklahoma City. The only difference between him, the boys up at Ruby Ridge and the suicide bombers in the middle east, is that at least the suicide bombers have the courage to kill themselves for their convictions whereas MacVeigh does not. Duh, speaking of backyards. As indicated earlier, lets clean our own house first.

Wayne the bigot, (love your racial profiling comment), I'm going to an admission, I have lied about sex in the past. Albeit not under oath, but I have lied about it. Send me away to the land of Fat and Sassy. That lie about sex that I admit too has cost thousands of lives. If you ever got a bj, which I seriously doubt, then maybe, in the right situation, you would find yourself doing a Clinton.

I've never seen a "free" country like ours proceed down a path similar to Germany in the 30's where the apparent goal is to have everyone be alike, God fearing, church going, white, goose-stepping, aggressive, get ahead at all costs, bullies trampling over the rest of the world like its our own personal playground. Goodbye original thought, goodbye freedom, goodbye United States of America. Believe it or not, thats exactly what most of you people stand for.

Goodbye and goodnight.

Ed

One last thought on this already too long thread, there is no doubt in my mind, that based on the thought processes, attitudes, bigotry, insecurity and intellectual acumen of most of you, historically, you would have been:

1) 50 years ago-goose stepping if you lived in Germany;
2) 225 years ago-wearing red and calling me a traitor for being anti-loyalist; and
3) 2000 years ago yelling "crucify him".

Now all you professed Christions, put that in perspective and shove it up your tightly puckered asses. By the way, do you think the ACLU would have been defending Jesus? I don't think they would be representing Caesar. You people are very shallow.

Eddie, the just.

Blind, stupid, bigoted, and always ready to punch someone who says something he doesn't like.

Isn't that what you are doing every time you post on this board? Are you not able to do this in the physical world, so you resort to "punching" people around on a discussion board?

Keep trying, Eddie.

Dawgball:

Intellectually, maybe I do. Bear in mind, I started posting on this board several years ago in response to an ongoing, monotonous diatribe of right wing lies that many of you put forward as the truth. I think it started with the utter joy many of you seemed to get out of wanting to flip the switch on the electric chair for that woman in Texas who killed her children (can't remember her name).

I posted my opinion that the state shouldn't be killing the insane. From there it snowballed. I was the one who for the past several years have been receiving your punches. Whats wrong big guy, can dish it out but can't take it. Yeah, when stupid people say stupid things, I'm going to point it out. Sounds like you have the mentality of Ctown.

But, I appreciate the compliment. Sounds like some of my punches may have landed on you my right wing friend. You keep trying.

Actually, Eddie, if it makes you feel better you can keep thinking that your "ultra-intelligent" comments are demeaning to me. I simply think it's humorous that you throw around opinions about "bullies" while you put every effort into being one yourself. If your definition of a far right winger is me, then you are truly hopeless to anyone's opinion other than your own.
