Wow, what a ride it's been the past three or so years. Will walk across the stage today and accept my Communication Arts & Literature Degree, allowing me to teach grades 5-12. Looking back, I can't help but remember the incredibly stressful times of trying to manage a family, job, coaching, a full college load (plus some...), student teaching, and of course, cancer thrown into the mix just for fun. I remember quite a few posts made here out of frustration, and out of fear of what was to come.
I also remember the great friends I have developed here over the years, and the incredible support I've received from so many of you. To think that my journey into teaching and coaching is entering a new phase is difficult to process at the moment, but I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here for their friendship and support over the years.
This is truly a special place, and I'm thankful I have so many of you that I can call my friend.
Cheers! :0074 :toast:
