I like your points but I think you went overboard saying "That's the mark of a great quarterback -- someone who can win and/or play well under ADVERSITY" meaning injuries, especially. What QB hasn't struggled with injuries and loss of personnel?
Maybe I'm biased because I am a huge Dan Marino fan, but even he went down the tubes without the likes of Duper and Clayton.
As for Flutie (someone else wrote about him), I'm not sold on him, but there's something to be said about his career winning percentage. Sure, he played in some horseshit leagues and whatnot, but I don't care if you're winning at tiddlywinks -- you're still winning.
