this just in:

Georges St. Pierre vs. Jon Fitch (welterweight title match) to headline UFC 87 in August.....

Mark Coleman scratched from the card due to injury... his replacement will fight Brock Lesnar.

I wonder what big boy the UFC is going to find to replace Coleman...??

... im going to guess Heath Herring. Considering the state of the UFCs heavyweight division, only Herring stands a chance IMO... and thats pushing it.

Heavyweight division is really dry right now.. nobody worthy of challenging the winner of Mir vs. Noguiera.

Plenty of solid guys for Lesnar to fight.
Herring is a good one.
Cheick Kongo would be good to see.
Hell bring back Oleg Taktarov, he is 2-0 in his return(not sure if he has a contract with Yamma).

From what I have seen from Lesnar, he wouldn't beat any of these guys.

GSP.........will destroy and I mean destroy Fitch....nobody on the planet matches up with GSP except for maybe Superman.

GSP.....best pound for pound fighter in MMA.......

GSP GSP GSP GSP

This guy is unreal........god of mma and one super nice guy. Fitch gonna get steamrolled:SIB

and Brock is a newbie...plenty of guys you could put him up against.......

Fabricio Werdum
Gabriel Gonzaga
Mirko Filipovic
Cheick Kongo
Roy Nelson....ok so he's not in UFC sue me
Heath Herring
Josh Barnett...hey, he's only under contract for one fight with Affliction so hey why not...lol!

Kick when i see GSP beat someone with good hands and is his own size then i will be sold on GSP. Seems like all they put him up against is wrestlers with average hands. Im talking about Marcus Davis or this black kid Andre Johnson who whiped out the farm boy (Tommy Speel?)from the ultimate show in his last fight. When he beats one of them i will be sold. No way GSP could stand with either guy and the kid Johnson has wrestling skills. As of right now GSP is only half man and half amazing.

Cheick Kongo already has a fight booked for that event... i was just thinking about the August event... I dont know when they r gonna bring Mirko back, but against Lesnar is the wrong time to do it... i guess they could bump Kongo to fight Lesnar...?

Lesnar is like a brick wall. The only way to beat him (i think  ) is submit him... and i doubt he'll keep getting subbed w/ kneebars for long. I realize we havent seen much of him in MMA, but hes HHHUUUGGGGEEEE in size and equally powerful... his next opponent is going down fast IMO.

There r some of those young guys, like Cain Velasquez, that have shown real talent, but dont think the UFC would throw a kid like that to the wolves... Yea, Cain Velasquez was a great wrestler and is a helluva fighter, but Lesnar was/is a better wrestler and would win that double-leg off any day...

and from kicks list:

-Josh Barnett is one of those guys, like Lindland, that Dana White hates.. Barnett will never be seen in the UFC again as long as White is around.

-I guess Werdum could try and sub him??

-Gonzaga is out there, but after seeing him against Randy i think Lesnar would just scare him to death

:scared :scared

I see the line opening at about...

GSP (-210)

Fitch (+160)

...somewhere around there.. Just MY prediction, of course..

no matter what this bout will be very competitive... neither will "run through" the other IMO. :SIB

GSP should roll on Fitch like it or not Bucks but i"m pretty sure GSP will be -300 or so ... would prefer a closer line to make some $$$ but -300 or -400....

Can't see it anything under -270

Cro Cop is done in the UFC.

He fought in the Heiwa series back in March and has another bout in July with them.

Not sure where Cro Cop's head is at. He doesnt seem to interested in fighting the best anymore.
His next fight is June 15th vs. Jerome Lebanner(3-1).
Why is he fighting bums in a worthless league??
