My best friend since high school, have known for 16 years and I have not talked since we got in a fight in Vegas about 6 months ago.

He stated he wanted to go to Vegas and have a last hoorah since his wife was pregnant and he only had so much time left to *party* Anyway, we went down to Vegas and he just wanted to hang out with girls all the time. Blew tons of money gambling and was being a tight wad the whole time. I said thats fine but I got sick of it, I was gambling a lot in the sportsbook too, but I needed no part of hanging out with chicks because c'mon we're both married and he has a kid on the way :nooo: Anyway, I paid for some of his shit on the trip too, which pissed me off because I'm just an ordinary average guy and he comes from money. It really pissed me off though because told me one night at dinner he was not sure if his wife was "right" for him. C'mon dude shoulda thought about that before you married her and knocked her up. Anyway, you aint getting me to cheat on my wife, I love her too much.

And after that we fought quite a bit on that trip about a number of petty things. We just did not get along that well. God, we about tore each others heads off.

Anyway, we haven't talked for 6 months at least his son was born a few days ago so I thought I'd be the bigger man and called him to congratulate him on the birth of his newborn.

what you did was be a stand-up kind of guy. I think you did the right thing. telling everyone on the forum about it was probably not your best move tho. if he's a true friend everything should work out fine, if not, he probably wasn't as good a friend as you thought. good luck either way.

Kneifl, I feel for ya and my sympathies on saying goodbye to a long friendship. There are fewer and fewer people we can trust in our lives, and it sucks to have your best friend try to make himself feel better by having you cheat on your wife too. He's only mad because you are better than him and he knows it. People think of marriage as dating nowadays and kids as cars. Glad to hear you take it seriously. All these guys on here that are dogging ya about sharing your experience forgot that it was at least a trip to Vegas. That qualifies as a betting forum general discussion.

What happens in Vegas, Cancun, or Whiskey Tango, stays there. Gimme a break, learn what trust is. If you would fvk around on your wife, I am sure that she has already fvked around on you. You arent uniquely able to get laid on the side, she could get it twice as fast as you could.
