Step son and his gf coming over today. He and I are playing 9 holes in my neighborhood. Grilling Steaks when we get back from golf and catching local fireworks show. Fire works are illegal in Colorado due to the high fire risk in the state..... I know the dogs will be happy!

Our little community/development has a pretty big FW show too but I'm done with fireworks and have been for quite a few years. One thing about our dogs is that they aren't bothered by the fireworks one bit. Thank goodness for that.

Just me and the wife today. Gonna steam some shrimp (Baltimore style) on the patio later on and maybe I'll have some wine watching the O's.

but I'm done with fireworks and have been for quite a few years. One thing about our dogs is that they aren't bothered by the fireworks one bit.

1. Who doesn't like fireworks? Jack = party pooper

2. Pretty rare for a doggie to not be affected by Fireworks, most freak out. One of my dogs literally hides under my bed and even sometimes jumps in one of my tennis bags for cover. She'll almost zip herself up inside the bag she gets so freaked out

It's July 8th, it's time to stop popping the damn fireworks!!!

Not because of our dog, but those damn kids nearly caught our Christmas decorations on fire!!!!
