At least wee and night janitor made cash

you guys are great contributors and deserve it

:mj06:

cheers to you guys

I would have rather McGirt stopped it earlier if he was going to.

Why halfway through the eleventh?

At that point, nothing was even happening.

Even Ricky said it was early.

Paulie was pathetic, but I was more than a little shocked to see the towel come in....

oh, don't listen to me...i am one poor bitter man tonight

Sorry to all the guys who lost, especially Ghost with a $2,000 bet but that's the type of shit that happens when you have a trainer like McGirt who wants to be the centre of attention.

It was a bullshit call all the way.

My week went from complete shit (I would have lost far more than Ghost :scared ) to dancing in the street in the blink of an eye.

I can't believe I had Tackie sooooo wrong but Buddy saved the day for me.

"the bunker"
that stoppage cost me a few dollars....

i didn`t hear one word outta malignaggi about the right hand being injured after the fight.......so anything he says after the fact,i take with a serious dose of skepticism....

you`re a forking boxer.....god gave you TWO hands......

regardless of whether it`s potent or not,how do you literally go whole rounds with your power hand in your pocket?....

...if he had at least tried to mount a little offense,i don`t think mcgirt throws the towel in...i`m not letting mcgirt off the hook, mind you...

i think he froze...locked up...

I absolutely 100% agree. :toast:

I got the Under right of Gonzalez and apart from that took soo many small bets that I thought were value...I even played Br?hmer in play to scalp my Garay bet and eventually had a nice profit riding on Br?hmer....couldnt resist those +600 and more odss on Br?hmer in the middle rounds, after all the fight was in Germany...Tackie apparantly is done...now I regret that I didnt hedge that bet...well, anyways...I plyaed Hatton 10-12 @+1400 at bodog very early...later I played over 6,7,8 and under 11.5 which all hit and Hatton straight for a small amount and Hatton inside...so when Hatton was available @+6000 @betfair in 11 and 12 I only bet a further 20 ?....but still that was a very nice comeback...sorry to hear that you have lost guys!

Ghost Kid, you're a class act, kudos to you friend. It's hard to cheer on others when bad luck strikes you, but you did so anyway. You typically do better than me on a weekly basis, I'm sure next week things will be back in order :)

Appreciate it NJ.

I slept till noon today I was so depressed. I have only myself to blame for this debacle.

Buddy McGirt's retardedness aside, I broke every gambling rule this weekend.

I went HUGE on the fights I was unsure of (Molitor, Hatton-Paulie over 11.5)
and SMALL on the fights I was positive on (Gonzalez under 7.5, Joyi under 8.5)

I chased my HUGE Kirkland under loss by adding more to the Hatton-Paulie over

Terrible terrible money management and awful discipline...threw away almost 6 weeks of hard work and earned cash...

An ugly combination of no discipline and bad luck....missing the kirkland under 6.5 and the hatton over 11.5.... each by one round !

A hard lesson to learn, but I will come back swinging...

as bad as evan's track record has been the last few months, his money management is VERY good...low risk...I played high risk this weekend and got burned every step of the way...

congrats again...you called it right and you deserve it brother...i thought paulie would at least be competitive...

next week: p-will and arreola !

We have all been there Ghost.

In gambling, we learn some really harsh lessons.

It seems to me that you are pretty new to this. You are also VERY good at it.

This weekend will sting for a while but you will get it back in no time.

As long as you are winning over the long haul.

Keep the chin up mate :toast:

I echo Weepaul's comments.

Im new to this as well, started off with 20$ bets. Worked up to +1200 in about 6 months, lost it all in about 2 months. Literally down to +5.

Since then it's been a hot streak, back up to +2k, with avg bets of 60-100$. But really, hitting bottom and losing all those bets was a good turning point, I chased so many losses and made so many stupid bets, my reward was even more devastating losses. I went away from the plan so many times and got destroyed b/c of it. I'm not an optimistic or inspirational person in real life, but really man, hitting bottom can be a good thing, it makes you sharp again. Like prizefighters who suffer a loss or flash KD, it gets your head on straight.

You've done a great capping job since you joined, I'm glad to hear you're coming back strong :thumb:

Ghost! My man! As the song says, "I get knocked down, but I get back up again". A new day; a fresh start. Kirkland under punished me also. I don't dewll on it anymore. It's water under the proverbial bridge. Peace brother.

sounds like me minus the initial success. i've being doing well since however and probably could bet a little more aggressively. i hate it when you feel good about a bet and then your confidence starts to waiver, so you pass on it and then the fucker wins.

Ghost; regarding Torres-Holt. I was at that fight and someone here mentioned, correctly, I might add, it was Holt's HEAD that did Torres in. Ergo, +160 is a value on Torres from what I can see. Check it out on the Tube if you haven't done so already.

From my point of vue, it wasn't just Holt's head; even though he had just been heavily put down, Holt had his legs back firmly under him and was waiting to capitalize on Torres upcoming rush, which he did.

Holt showed good recuperative powers.

Fight doesn't go the distance, minus ? I don't think either of these guys will want to give the other a chance to breathe. Well, Crow, I guess we don't see I 2 I on the head smasher. Only time will tell.
