I?ve talked to Greg in length about this. He knows he?s got all the time off he wants and with full pay. Many have offered to help with contests and they know we appreciate their offers. Greg knows all this and appreciates everybody?s concerns. But, it?s not like he?s laying brick for a living. He needs to do something. He loves madjacksports and handicapping sports. He should keep his mind sharp and what?s better than doing something you enjoy? He has nothing else to do.
I think it?s best to let Greg do what HE wants to do within reason. I just hope he does exactly what the doctors? have instructed him to do and gets all the sleep and rest he wants. He?s under no pressure at all with work related problems.
I could take away the burden of managing the contests but that?s not what IE wants. Participants will hopefully understand that updates and standings will take a little longer than they are used to. If not, they are just being selfish. The me, me, me, me thing.
