Vanished into vortex
It's beers and a ballgame. Some of my favorite people and some of my favorite posters have opposing views and differing lifestyles than I do, so what. My best friend is a diehard conservative with very strong views, and I love the guy to death. He and I have gone to the voting booths together in every single election spanning the last twenty years to "cancel each other's vote", and every time we exit the booth, high five, tell each other that their vote didn't count now and then we laugh and go get lunch and a beer. It's my favorite part of every election. In the end, humanity has to somehow float to the top. Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe that. I'm not gay, but a childhood friend of mine is and he didn't tell anyone other than myself for decades out of fear of disapproval or judgement by others. I still can't fathom the anxiety and grief that he must have experienced during that time. I assure you that I will never be that guy, the intolerant, judgemental narcissist that feels like my views are the only ones allowed.
Don't know how else to put it man. It's a game and some beers. Hedge and I both like beer and baseball, and sometimes, that's enough for two grown ass men to enjoy a great day at the park watching our hometown teams battle it out. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I honestly believe we will have a good time

Good for you, sir. I've disliked a few on here and several have disliked me. I, like you, believe that we could get along and enjoy each others company if we met in the real world. I've met a couple MJers in person and it was always a great time (alcohol usually involved).

I'd look forward to meeting FDC one day if my Pens ever hold up their end of the deal and make the finals against the Blackhawks.

There is seriously only one cocksucker I wouldn't want to meet from this forum unless it was to piss on his grave (which I will do if someone posts his burial site, that I hope he gets to soon in order to make the world a better place, honestly) Other than that I have argued with several but take the FDC approach and figure the internet is not real life.

Again, good on ya.

Whatever, dude, just your opinion. Doesn't mean we have to agree on this racist bigot, but you two can have a laugh about me while drinking beers as chums. I'm sure it will come up now that you are good buddies. Have fun. Sheesh!! He posted specific bullshit at my child, so his "internet persona" doesn't fly with me. He is what he is. Period.

Chuck,
I am going to a Cubs game with my friend Kyle. He isn't a madjacks member. I am certain you won't come up, nor would I "have a few laughs" at your expense. Not my nature nor Kyle's. Nothing about anything I'm doing has anything to do with you or anyone else on here and I have absolutely no desire or responsibility to defend my choices to anyone whatsoever. I'm a grown ass man and will do whatever I want with whomever I want, without the shitty little comments.

Waaaahhhhhhhh, you are worse than any woman I've ever known, get the fuck over it wine boy, I made fun of your stepson drunk one night and you hold a grudge, I've apologized over and over, get the fuck over it whiny and move the fuck on

Fdc and I don't get along politically or on many matters here for that matter, but he invited me to see a baseball game and have a few beers and I'll meet up what do I have to lose? I bet we have fun, I'm hoping the Cubs and Astros are in the pennant race then as well

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

This.

And I think both teams are going to be very good this year. That would be great if they played for a pennant.

Too funny, and you have never had "shitty little comments" on here before at said person, or others for that matter? Now that is funny. I don't really care what you do with your new BFF, just commenting you are choosing something that is beyond belief. Dickhead can blame being drunk for every racial comment, bigot comment, etc. over many years at many people, but a person is who they are in that mold, no matter the excuse. Enjoy his non-internet persona he's going to bring to the game, as he said. :mj07:
