IT IS WHEN YOU WIN $$$ or ???'s.

I watch NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB. I dont know the technical side of the game but still enjoy the sports. If I can win money on a consistant basis with the aid of cappers from this site thats all I need to know.

Stick with it, play small stakes until you get a feel.

Best of luck

I must apologise for the lack of previews today, but I am only going to be able to show my two plays for today.

Will be back to normal for tomorrow.

1 Point Win Leicester (-17) at 8/11 with Stanley Racing ( I would advise also taking the line of twenty points offered by Ladbrokes, Coral)

1 Point Win Biarritz (-12) vs Ulster at 5/6 with Ladbrokes

Good Luck today :)

Glasgow 13-12 Bourgoin
Leicester 53-10 Beziers
Biarritz 25-20 Ulster

A slightly disappointed weekend so far. I am 2-2 so far on this weekend, but think I have something for tomorrow that can turn it around. If I leave the weekend in profit, then I will be satisfied. It is not up to my recent high standards, but these fairytale weekends do not arrive on a weekly basis.

Check back in a hour or two for Sundays previews which will conclude Round 4 of Heineken Cup.

TOULOUSE (-23) vs. Edinburgh

10/11 Sportingodds @ 1 point

Toulouse were value for their 30-9 win in Edinburgh last week. To me they still look the best side in the tournament and with improved weather and home advantage I expect the handicap to be surpassed.

The TOTE go -20 points but minimum of trebles required, so bet with sportingodds having to lay an extra 3.

Good luck

Bulldog,

The line of 20 points is also available with PaddyPower, BlueSQ, Chandler, and Coral, and I believe at least one of these firms accept singles.

One big play for me today.

Cardiff vs Northampton (Arms Park, Cardiff, 13:30 GMT)

Northampton arrive in Cardiff today, after beating their opponents by over ten points at home last week. This week Cardiff field a team with seven changes, and the majority of the players coming in are youth players, with limited experience of playing at a european level.

Northampton must pinch a away win from somwhere, if they are to snatch top place off Biarritz, and they will have pinpointed this fixture, as a top priority away win. They field a wealth of international talent including red hot winger Ben Cohen, while John Leslie will me playing for the 50th time for the Saints.

I have spent a good few days thinking over this game. I have no hesitation in laying down the play despite a short price, and will make the game my biggest play of the rugby calendar year. There only thing that dents my confidence is the possible leathal Harris-Robinson-Sullivan combination, and the fact that the public are all over this game. However, I feel that they together with the Racing Post may be right for a change.

3 Point Win Northampton (-5) vs Cardiff at 4/7 with Ladbrokes ( I would also have no hesitation in playing this line at 6 or 7 points available with Coral, BlueSQ, Tote)

Cardiff 0-31 Northampton

Great to end the weekend on a high, in what has been a tricky weekend. The big 3 point bet on Northampton meant that we end the weekend in profit having been at a loss since Fridays games.

Heineken Cup closes for Christmas and is back in early January, where the all important pool games draw their conclusion, and the teams with that all crucial home advantage emerge.

Back in the New Year.

YTD:

INTERNATIONAL RUGBY : 8/11 (73%) +5.61 Units
DOMESTIC RUGBY : 19/24 (79%) +13.34 Units

OVERALL YTD :

27/35 (77%) +18.95 Units (+?1895/$3012 calculated to a ?100 unit stake)

Thought it might be of interest at this halfway point of the season to summarise my betting stakes to see how I am doing on the larger bets.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is more for my own purposes, but I will inculde it on the thread for anybody who is interested.

1 Point Bets : 20/27 (74%)

2 Point Bets : 6/7 (86%)

3 Point Bets: 1/1 (100%)

All that is left to say is Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!

:)

Congrats on your fine record, crooky.

If we Americans understood that sport more, we'd respond in here more, I think. All I know is that 27-8 is a great record.

Great job. Happy New Year, mate.
