He's amazing, he created a new NATO.

What a guy.
As to withdrawing from NATO, that’s not something that I’m interested in doing, DJT was able to convince our NATO allies to spend more on defense.

Trump can’t unilaterally withdraw from NATO after legislation passed last year. . I know that there are factions within both chambers who would support such an act, but no way he could garner the requisite support to withdraw from nato so you can rest easy.
I am shocked you have inaccurate information.

Mexico/USA trade isn't anywhere close.🤦‍♀️

Canada/USA trade in 2023 averaged 2 billion dollars a day. That is more then any two other countries on the planet. And that doesn't even include the fact that USA gets 21 percent of its fresh water from Canada, and you get that for free. We do get discounts on USA cereal, so it works out.

And yet you still ask why I would be interested in American politics?

Donald Trump doesn't even know what a tariff is, yet 2 billion traded daily between Canada and USA. Yeah, why would anybody outside America care that Donald Trump will be back in the White House?
Donald Trump was fantastic for Canadian and American trade. Like I said, people were crying, including your buddies in this forum, about Trump backing out of NAFTA only to craft a deal that was fantastic for not only the US, but our partners.

I don’t even know what the new NAFTA is called, so I’ll stick with calling it new nafta in lieu of nafta 2.0

Every country in the world has major problems. That doesn't mean if your country is wealthy you shouldn't help out a country like Ukraine when Putin attacks.
America has helped Ukraine, in raw numbers, more than any other country.

we all know It’s in the best interest of Ukraine, and the rest of the world, for a deal to be brokered. Youre concerned about DJT and his nukes, but the real threat is Putin and his nukes. I look forward to that war ending in 2025.

as it relates specifically to problems in the United States of America, you might be surprised to hear , that the United States spent more the past two years on Ukraine than it spent combined on the homelessness, Unsecured border and veteran issues that T mentioned above.

Yes, absolutely fantastic 🤦‍♀️
New NAFTA is a fantastic deal and DJT is the reason. If Canada is not as satisfied with it as the United States is, well that’s part of being little brother. Im not kkkcking Canada. In fact, i like Canada. I don’t like Trudeau, but I do thoroughly approve of Poilievre (sp?).

And one would think they should continue to do so.

But now that Putin's little bitch Trump is soon to be back.......Putin gets what he wants and it is all over.
I don’t want to spend more money on Ukraine than on our needs. I do not approve of bailing on nato and leaving our allies hanging when we were involved in starting this war

When Russia threatened to invade if we continue to move towards adding Ukraine to NATO, we should’ve looked to made an agreement.

Also, which tax breaks on the wealthy are you referring to? I haven’t seen any mention of that except by liberal pundits and the insanely liberal kooks at Mad Jackie’s political forum
His tax proposal would add $3T to the debt according to this outfit.

oh, are you ukranian? i mean, they've been fighting and dying for nearly 3 years now to keep russia out of ukraine. they don't seem to want to make a deal. i think they want russia out of ukraine. but why don't you go ahead and tell their soldiers and civilians what YOU think is in their best interest.

lemme guess... you're not real big on world history, are you? typically when you reward someone like putin for attacking another country, it... never stops there. and never turns out better for the rest of the world.

while the CIA has certainly covertly started plenty of small wars around the globe, i can't seem to recall exactly how the US was involved in starting this one. was it when we tricked putin into sending forces to the ukranian border? maybe when we put up the Garage Sale signs up in ukraine to lure those soldiers across the border? nobody can resist a garage sale.

please refresh my memory. and do it without using talking points from the russia-apologists who somehow now dominate the republican party.

“The impact of Trump’s proposals will vary significantly depending on which combination of policies are pursued and how exactly each policy is structured.”

I understand your concerns. I do not understand your overreactive tendencies. As the quote from article indicates, we don’t know exactly which course of action will be taken. As I’ve told you several times, but I guess unwilling to accept, it is my position that DJ T is and will use the threat of across-the-board tariffs to force our trade partners to improve our current deal. We do not sell cars in Germany or Japan, but those people are selling millions of cars here.

I know you get excited, you told me yourself last week that brown people, including dark skinned Americans like myself, will be rounded up regardless of documentation and deported to Mexico. Slightly unhinged take, I still consider you a serious man. I recommend you try to calm down and let this play out.

Six or seven years ago you all but cried about Trump tariffs. You were positive It was going to ruin us. Then a president that you stood behind took office for four years and left those tariffs intact. So you’re now cool with those tariffs from seven years ago, right?

It’s time to drop the partisan act and let’s see where this country can go. I refuse to believe youre a vapid partisan troll like
Smitty. The people have spoken. Trump’s agenda is what the people of the United States have voted for. Might be hard to accept, but it’s happening so it’s time to get on board. If everything turns to shit I’ll be the first one right there alongside you chirping against DJT.

Respectfully, the United States was party to this with their NATO allies. Obviously this war was started by Vladimir Putin and Russia. But it very clear he threatened invasion if we pursued adding Ukraine to NATO. In my opinion, we should have negotiated instead of dismissing Putin’s threat of invasion.

It’s in the best interest of global peace to negotiate our way out of this. Personally, I would’ve negotiated when Putin threatened to invade, but didn’t happen that way imo bc war seems to be big business for establishment Democrats and neo conservative Republicans in DC. I was never a fan of Ukraine. It was a governmental cesspool of corruption. Obviously I don’t want anyone dying under any circumstance, much less well meaning soldiers or civilians. This is why I would’ve negotiated from the beginning.

They are promoting a mass deportation. Why are you blaming me for repeating it?

Can you link to the posts from 6 or 7 years ago where we all cried about the tariffs? TIA.

50.2% voted for Trump. Very decisive. When this presidency fails, you'll go back into hiding. You're already defending his asinine cabinet picks, so spare us you're horse shit.

see, you keep proving what an ignorant fuck you are. this is at least the 3rd time you've called me some version of a "partisan hack." and the previous 2 times i've asked you to clarify exactly what party you think i belong to. i'm sure you'll actually respond this time.

If everything turns to shit I’ll be the first one right there alongside you chirping against DJT.
i'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on this right now.

and when considering whether or not everything has turned to shit, of course you'll take into account people who aren't white, straight, christian males. you know, the people who are most likely to be impacted by project 2025 and trump's agenda.

*sigh* again, no idea why i bother. but HOW was the US "party to this with their NATO allies." you keep saying stupid shit with NO FACTUAL INFORMATION.

now, MY recollection of events was that any moves to add ukraine to NATO were well after putin invaded. perhaps you are privy to information that i'm not. please share with everyone.
